Canon 10D Digital Camera

After having the Canon 20D and 10D, it was time for an long overdue upgrade. Well after some research, I found the best choice for me. I just received this camera a couple of weeks ago. But just the feel and the nice size monitor on the back, is just some of the great advantage points. I Love the higher ISO limit compared to the older models, giving you more opportunity for more artistic and being creative with images. There is no way I can give you all my likes because of so many. But for the price, I think it is one of the best deals in the Canon lineup. It is such a fun camera, that it makes me feel like its my very first DSLR. Well the fever has hit me again even after giving this little submission. I think I will head out to see what memory of this wonderful world I can add to my new experience in Canon 7D photography, from a camera I just absolutely LOVE...

My first DSLR was a Canon 10D, so I've been in the world of DSLR's for quite some time! Over the past few years, it was my wife that pointed out the fact, I've not been shooting much. I'm not sure why, life is very busy so that is part of it, but another significant factor was that I have become somewhat fatigued by the idea of dragging out the camera bag and the switching of lenses depending on what shooting situation presented itself. SOOO, after toying with the idea for some time I did it--sold the DSLR and assortment of quality glass and replaced it with what I believe to be the best all-in-one, do everything well camera on the market today. Am I sacrificing in this trade? Sure-- but not much and what I gain, IMO more than makes up for it. I have months before I will feel comfortable with the new controls and the plethora of digital controls found in the menu system. BUT, the basic controls are intuitive enough and accessible enough that a photographer can quickly be taking stellar images with this tool. More than anything I hope this new camera gets me outdoors and exploring more again! This is just my 2 cents...

I own a Canon 10D Camera for few years and always wanted to own a good multipurpose Lens. When I was finally able to afford one, I purchased the Zoom Wide Angle-Telephoto EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM Autofocus Lens by Canon. This Lens is the one I will be using from this point on with my Canon 10D Camera. This lens gets the job done very well. Also, it covers a wide range for a variety of shots, from portraits to telephotos. This Lens focuses fast, and the Image Stabilization (IS) really works. The IS system locks on target so that there is a minimum impact on the image even though the Camera shakes. The image quality is very good, as well as the Color Saturation, Contrast, and Sharpness. Thank you,Albert

Being a nature macro-photographer,I wanted a dedicated macro lens. When I read the glowing reviews of this new Canon,f 2.8, IS 100mm macro lens, I purchased one this week. I shot quite a few photos in the yard of flowers, butterflies, and scenes with this lens and my reliable 6 year old EOS 10D camera. The results were very good, but not as good as I wanted; as it became obvious that overall clarity was being limited by the 10D's 6.3 MP sensor. I had anticipated such would be the case before the lens purchase. The post-production cropping was limited by the sensor size too.. I switched to AI servo mode on the camera, as the directions with the lens suggested, and this helped somewhat with the clarity of images. Even with the IS on, extreme closeups would likely be helped by using a monopod or tripod. Overall, I am delighted with this lens's quality , but to use it to its full potential means that I'm now going to purchase a Canon EOS 7D body. This should be superb combo for me for years to come.

At first I was a little scared to trust this to keep the water out, so I used it with my old Canon 10D, just to test it out, and it was absolutely flawless. I now use it with my 5D and love it.

I had my doubts about using a different brand of battery in my old Canon 10D than the original manufactures battery but this seems to work perfectly and it was fully charged out of the package. This was a pleasant and welcomed surprise because it was for my daughter who is exploring the world of photography, other than point and shoot, for the first time though a class at school. My old 10D hadn't been fired up in years so I was hesitant to buy a batter let alone a non-Canon unit. I'll be back for more replacements.

I've had this on my old Canon 10D and couldn't stand the strap that came with my new 7D. I was so happy to find this design is still available as it is perfect for my needs. I particularly like the loop strap attachment to the camer as there is no metal to metal rubbing, just a secure strap. The wide neck strap is very comfortable.

I own multiple Canon bodies and have gradually upgraded, from a 10D, to 40D, 50D, 7d and now the 6D MKII. What made me make the final jump was the wifi capability. Its great to be able to take a picture and download to my phone after or even use my smartphone as a remote function....and add to that the normal Canon functions, and it's a great entry to the Full frame transition for me...

B &H has been my go to since I purchased my Canon 10D. They always have the most up to date gear at the best price possible. This pc is no different. When I was shopping for a pc, I kept finding more updated processors and better graphics at lower prices. I should have started at B & H. This pc has a great processor plenty of RAM and 2TB of SSD storage. It runs photoshop faster than I have ever seen. great pc, great price, fast service. Thanks B & H

I have been using Canon DSLR cameras since the 10D, and I have continually upgraded to the latest. I always use a battery grip and for years exclusively the Canon grip. Up to several years ago I purchased the Vello grip for a 7D, Mark III and a 6D. I was hesitant at first but having the Vello for a good 3 plus years now, there is no difference. The build is the same and feels solid and secure like Canon but half the price. With this brand I see no reason to spend double for the essentially the same thing. I never buy third party equipment but this is one is an exception.
