Canon 24 70L 2.8 Ii

I recently purchased a Canon 24-70L 2.8 lens and spent quite a bit of time online researching 77mm UV filter reviews. I wanted a high-end UV filter to use with the lens and everything I read pointed towards the German manufactures. I have quite a few filters I use for B&W photos and have has no problems with screwing them on and off of the Heliopan where I've had problems unscrewing other brands. Of course the most important aspect is the glass. The lens and filter are a perfect match.

I love this lens. It is my new walk-around lens. I have the 24 - 70L 2.8, 70 - 200L, 85L 1.2 and now this one. I really hesitated getting this one since I own the 85, but I am so glad to have them both. They are both very useful and both produce beautiful images! I feel like my lens collection is now complete as this lens allows me to shoot those tight shots indoors! Totally worth the money!

Got this filter to protect my Canon 24-70 2.8L II after having the 77mm version on two of my other lenses. Image quality does not degrade when using this filter. The glass feels very hard, although im not willing to test it, I do believe that it will probably withstand quite a bit of abuse. My only issue with it, is that the lens cap does not sit on quite as well as it did before the filter was fitted.

Paired this with the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens. This is made with Zeiss glass and you can really see the difference with other variable ND filters (no color casting versus the rest!) Typically ND filters cause loss of sharpness when but images produced with the heliopan are nice and sharp!

I use this adapter with my a6500 and Canon 24-70mm 2.8 II and 50mm 1.8 glass and it works great for my needs. I'm just a graphic designer making my way into photography, so not having used the greatest cameras on the market, I don't know how to compare it to the speed of some native glass. I just know it fits the bill and compliments the fast AF and burst speeds of my a6500!

Just got new Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L II USM and figured that a lens of this quality deserves superior protection and optics. This filter does not dissapoint. I keep this on at all times to protect my lens and enhance my images. It's sleek, low profile, easy to clean and does not degrade or distort my images.
