I use this on my 24-70 2.8 canon lens on the 5D Mk III. Best UV filter ever, very thin and awesome anti-reflection coatings. Blows away every other UV filter I have tried. Only downside is that the threads are pretty tight so you have to be very precise lining it up, but I am sure this improves the weatherproofing. 5 |

Got this filter to protect my Canon 24-70 2.8L II after having the 77mm version on two of my other lenses. Image quality does not degrade when using this filter. The glass feels very hard, although im not willing to test it, I do believe that it will probably withstand quite a bit of abuse. My only issue with it, is that the lens cap does not sit on quite as well as it did before the filter was fitted. 5 |

I use this lens for skiing and street, parties, etc.It is a great deal. I just bought the canon f 2.8 24-70 mm. and the sigma does 90% of the canon does and for the 25% of the money. Sigma has IS canon does not. Canon aperture is 2.8 from 24 mm to 70 mm.However, sigma lens is variable. It is 2.8 only at 17 mm. I cannot tell the difference at short distance. 5 |
