Works perfect with my Canon 40D

This camera outperforms my Canon 40d (with my budget lenses) in sharpness and low-light performance... even with the kit lense (16-50mm). I love the size and how easy it is to carry on excursions with my family. I am ultra happy with this purchase!

My last camera was a Canon 40D and this one is absolutely amazing in comparison! I’m still trying to figure it out since there is such a difference.

It is perfect fit on my Canon Rebel XT(350d) and Nikon 40D. I think price is pretty reasonable. It isn't give me perfect protection so that never trust when you drop pouched camera. Even though it is not a weatherproof or waterproof, it can protect in mild rainy day or from moistures. I washed and while washing, I tested it with shower spray. Water wasn't easy to leak into inside of pouch and later, water finally got into pouch.

This flash for the money does a great job on my Canon 40D.

I bought this as an upgrade to my 40D which I've had for several years and is not supported by Canon anymore. I like the in-camera processing, especially the fineness setting. The touch screen is also very convenient and easy to use. I also like the customizable focus points. I did get the battery grip as I have for all my cameras. It's indispensable for many reasons. I did get a Herrmingbone leather hand sling to put on it. I've used the Canon E-1 for many years and was disappointed to see that they are not available any longer. The difference in image in image quality in the 10mp 40D and the 24mp 80D is just phenomenal. The 40D was great. Can't wait to make some big prints with this one. I chose this over the 6D and the 7D and am very happy that I did.

Had a set of tubes with my old film camera, and got these to use with my Canon 40D. Work much like I remembered. Went with these because reviews stated a tighter fit than some others, and this was true, they fit tightly together. Work well with standard 50mm lens, but also with my 28-135 zoom.

This lens is by far my favorit lens. I use it with the Canon 40D and find hte extra 1.6 magnification factor of the camera a bit much for the lens as it pushes it to the 160mm length and makes it difficult to use for portraits. Where I believe this lens excells is in the macro world. I've had some amazing photos with this lens and would strongly recommend it to anyone. If you are considering it for a 20D or other camera which has a magnification factor, and you are considering it for portraits, you mught consider a the 50mm EF and purchase the Canon extender which I also use. BOth set-ups are similarily priced and work magic in the macro world.

On a non full frame camera like the Canon 40D/450D, this lens is not as wide as the Canon 10-22mm EF-S. However, this lens gives sharper images. It is a lens that landscape enthusiasts should not do without.

I use this on my Canon 40D and 50D and it never gets in my way. The build quality seems good and I trust it to catch my camera and lense if knocked out of my hand. I prefer these straps to the neck strap that always gets in the way.
