It works well with my Canon 85mm f1.8, 17-40mm f4L and I especially like it with my 40mm f2.8. With the 40mm pancake its still nice and compact. My only complaint is that the data port competes for space with my fingers next to the grip. If they could just move that to the bottom it would be glorious. 5 |

Purchased to protect a Canon 5DII with 40mm pancake lens that is strapped to my back while running. Does a good job of protecting this rig from sweat while cushioning it from the inevitable but slight bouncing on my back. Fits the 5DII w/ 40mm and one-inch metal lens hood snugly, though suggest focusing to infinity before inserting. It's made in the USA, which is why it probably costs a good $10-$15 more than it's China-made equivalents. 5 |
