Tripod is small and light to serve the purpose. I have tried my Canon 50D + battery grip + Tamron 18-270mm lens attached at home. There is no problem shooting portrait mode or landscape mode. The only con I have so far is the hook attached below the center column is not easy to pull out. 5 |

I'm using this on a Canon 50D with an extended (Canon) battery pack and right hand grip strap. The cover installs and removes easily and offers great scratch and dent protection, (though I don't think it would help allot with a high drop accident). 5 |
