Canon 50Mm F1 2

The filter does everything that it advertises. Easily added to my new Canon 50mm f1/8 lense.

I purchased this for my ZA f1,4 50mm and it not only provides good shade and prevents flare, it also absorbs minor shocks from bumps while I'm out and about. It collapses flush with the lens barrel so the lens stands vertically on a flat service or inside my camera cace. Unlike the standard hood, it stays on and doesn't fall off when I'm on the street. Very convenient and practical, especially for the price.

Use on my 50mm f1/8 Nikon lens. Fits like it should. Does the job. Works as expected.

I use it on Zeiss Planar T* 50mm F/1.4 ZF.2 Lens for Nikon F-Mount. I got it mostly for protection and put it on the minute I opened up the lens. It's an all-around good filter and not as expensive as other filters in this category. Highly recommend it to protect your glass.

I have some FD lenses from the years of my F1. I recently came back to Canon and these workhorse lens. The adapter let me re-experience those years of learning to focus, to set f-stops, compose, and antipating what the darkroom would reveal. I am really enjoying playing with my 50mm 1.4 ssc lens again...this time with my EOS 6D. Thanks B&H for enabling me to relive a moment of my life from the 70's.
