I used this monopod for the first time last weekend on a Triathlon event and worked great. Very light and solid! It is compact enough to carry it easily with my Canon 5D Mark III kit, Canon 70-200 f4 L lens, Canon Rebel XTi with Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC HSM lens and Speedlite 600EX-RT in my Canon backpack. Lock and release of the sections worked like a charm with no flex carring my 5D Mark III with the 70-200 F4 L lens. Very secure locks and the release is pretty quick for sports events. 5 |
