I am excited to be using this camera. I also have a Canon T3i and 5D Mark II. The 80D was purchased because of its new specs and especially because of its video capabilities. Being I just received the 80D I can't give a complete review at this time but will once I produce some pictures and videos. 5 |

I upgraded my 5D Mk III with this 5D Mk IV. Ok....not completely true....I'm still using my Mk III as a backup body which is a testament to how well Canon builds these bodies. The Mk IV is no different when it comes to the quality that Canon builds into their camera bodies. Materials and workmanship are excellent and the added features of this Mk IV are terrific as well. I'm enjoying the additional pixels as well as the added ability to control and communicate directly from the camera to my iPhone. I'm looking forward to shooting this year on the Mk IV knowing that I have my Mk III to back me up if needed. I'll also be shooting with the Mk III as a second body for events that require a long lens as well as a wide lens. I'm uploading some shots from this past week using the Mk IV. No flash for these shots....just a 5D Mk IV, 70-200 2.8 L IS II lens and a terrific subject! Superb camera body and as a bonus you can pick one up at a very reasonable price! If you are even remotely on the fence I'd suggest getting off the fence....pick one of these great bodies up today! You will not regret it. 5 |
