The EOS 5D Mark II Digital Camera is a terrific piece of equipment. It exceeded my expectations. The best part was the B&H price with the instant rebate. I have owned and used Canon cameras since 1982 and this is the best one I have ever used.

Bought this for my canon 5D Mark II camera, and chose the Canon brand over other less expensive 3rd party brands due to its solid construction and locking connector. I'm using this mainly for HD video timelapse. A common complaint with many users of this brand and others is that there is no power on/off switch. So far, not an issue for me, however. The battery drain is very minimal.

Fits well. Put it on the lens first, then mount to camera. I have a Canon 5D Mark II.

I use the mic on my dslr camera canon 5D mark II while shooting video. It is lightweight and portable. It works well keeping any movement of my camera quiet. I haven't found any feature that was problematic so far. I recommend this product.

I purchased this shoulder bag for my new camera, Canon EOS 5D Mark II. Unfortunately the camera is too big - or the bag too small - for a comfortable and easy fit. However, I did not return the bag, and this should be a testament to its superb quality and function. I love the waterproofed canvas and the leather detail. The clasps open easily and the shoulder strap is positioned correctly so the bag does not try to tumble if it is picked up at a funny angle. The padded interior provides a safe environment for gadgets, cameras, lenses. The dividers are flexible with velcro edges and can be easily readjusted or folded out of the way. I will use this bag for transporting laptop and/or electronic accessories. For my camera, I went much bigger with the Billingham 445.

This is perfect for the Canon 5D Mark II with a 24-70mm (or similar size) lens attached! I keep the wrap in the same shape, like an envelope that is fully closed with just the top open. The bottom and sides are secure and I can easily slide my camera in and out of the top, then close the top flap shut. It greatly reduces the bulk of having a padded camera bag when I need to take it on the go. If I'm just going sight seeing or on a day hike and don't need to take a lot of gear, it easily fits into a backpack or even a large purse. I absolutely love it and intend to get more of these wraps for my extra lenses.

I have owned my 50D for a little over three months now. With 6 weddings plus engagement shoots and senior pictures under it's belt, I like it better each time. I have never owed a 5D or any other full frame sensor camera, or even used one to compare, so I won't even try. But, I CAN compare my resulting images to those of fellow photographers who ARE shooting with those cameras, and I feel confident putting the results this camera produces up against anything I have seen of theirs. If anything faulters in my images, it is because I lacked skill and not because of the Canon 50D. I do use Canon L Series glass, and I think that is a huge contributor. I have never had focus issues due to low light unless I was testing a lower quality lens. That's not the camera's fault. With good lenses, focus is instant and accurate. Out of focus shots are user error. At 1600 ISO there is a little noise, but not near what I expected and i can recover from that post-edit. This may be the one area a 5d Mark II will show its pro camera colors over the 50D. This camera is a very comfortable fit in my average sized hand. Controls are easy to access and there is only a small learning curve to make operating them natural and second nature. I get approximately 650 RAW images on a 16GB CF card, and if you will be shooting all day like me at events, I recommend taking along an extra fully charged battery. Until I can justify spending 2.5x the price for a 5D Mark II (or whatever takes it's place by then), this camera is fabulous and I would buy it all over again! I will be replacing my wife's camera with a 50D very soon as well!
