I shoot with a Canon 6d, and anyone who shoots video with a DSLR knows that one of the biggest downfalls is the audio. This Tascam unit solves all of my problems. I can record a boom mic on one track and a wireless lapel on a second track simultaneously onto an SD card which can be a backup audio track. Additionally, I use a 'Line Out' output to go from the Tascam to the camera, giving the footage on my camera high quality audio too. One downside...phantom power will destroy the AA batteries so I recommend some sort of USB battery pack.

The Canon 6D is one of my first big boy DSLR cameras. And getting into video, this kit was everything I was looking for. The backpack is durable and can fit all the equipment easily, plus more. The extra batteries are perfect along with the dual charger. I would recommend this kit to any of my friends who are looking to get into video. I reached out to the experts at B&H for suggestions on kits and cameras and they led me here. I will say that the lens focus (USM) you can hear while taping. But nothing that bad at all.

Excellent battery grip for the Canon 6D. Feels just like the body and is seemless in design. Very affordable and my battery life is much better now. Lightweight, durable and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for this.

This is my second Canon 6D Mk II and I firmly belief it is the best, all-around DSLR Canon camera. My favorite feature is the touchscreen features for landscape as well as birding photography. The foldout screen is easy to use and my photographs are crisp! I highly recommend this camera.

I am currently using this product on a Canon 6D. It will work with both a Battery Grip and Body. Both have a rubber flap that allows the cord to come out the bottom. The batteries swap out well and hold into place. maybe the could fit a bit more snug but still works. if you are uncomfortable then you gaffers tape. with four off brand batteries it can extend shooting to around 14 hours. but if you swap out you can go continuous. The rod clamp I really cant use. would be nice if it were more versatile, but I have it sitting on another bracket. all in all,IMHO, this would be better than using a BG-E13 battery grip.

Since I am already invested in the canon system, I wanted to upgrade my camera body from the 6D I’ve been shooting with for the past 5 years. Obviously the 5D series is a bit more full-featured but I’m really blown away by the mark iv. Intuitive controls, touch-screen, low-light performance, it’s all there. I haven’t yet done any filming so I can’t comment on the LOG or video performance yet. Still image quality is amazing with big latitude in the raw files. Very happy with my purchase and with my experience with B&H. Thank you.

I'm a hobbyist photographer and have been a Canon 6D user since it was released. That camera punched above its weight, and therefore I've been hard pressed to justify buying a new body. The auto focusing on these latest mirrorless cameras is what finally sold me. Comparing the R6m2 to my 6D, the headlining differences are the focus system and the low light capability. The first few shots I took with this camera in-doors reminded me of using an iPhone - meaning, there was no effort in trying to get a clear picture in low light. The camera just did it. Compared to my 6D where I had to adjust my shutter speed constantly, and then plan to bump up exposure in post. The R6m2 is spec'd with 8 stops of image stabilization, which I was able appreciate almost immediately. As far as form factor goes - zero complaints here. Higher-end Canon DSLR's were such tanks, and you never felt like you had to handle them with kid's gloves. The same can be said for the R6m2. While it is smaller than its DSLR siblings, it's still sturdy and confident feeling. Overall, I'm extremely happy with it. I will confess that pictures taken with this camera, outside, on a clear day, of a still subject, are not really discernible from my 6D. But the upgrade is really felt in all other shooting scenarios, which I think makes it more than worth the purchase.

I use this battery grip with my Canon EOS 6D body when I am trying to shoot more portrait-oriented pictures. It allows me to get a more ergonomically correct handle and balance during use and to extend the life of my usage being able to utilize two batteries at once. What I like about this battery grip is that it works just like the OEM would for me. I haven't had any problems with it so far in terms of functionality, so I'm happy to have saved quite a bit. My Canon EOS 6D is my backup/portable set up anyways, so I don't have too high of an expectation for it. I will be honest and say that the build/feel is not quite as identical to Canon. I can tell Canon uses a more sturdier, heavy duty set of materials, hence the quality you pay for. I've had experiences in the past where the joystick from my Vello grip have fallen off, but so far so good with this one. I usually wait until my warranties are over to review, so I know it's been tested through plenty of use. Overall, it's a safe bet in my honest opinion. I hate the feeling of buying something only to regret it later and I think this was a good call. =

This case will fit a DSLR and a lens. I have my Canon 6D and 24-70L lens and there is still more room for my 50mm 1.4 and some other small items. I use this in the snow and kayaking with no problems.
