I love this adapter. I had an Canon AE-1 with every imaginable lens and filter. Then came the digital age and my lenses were no longer any good until I heard about B&H. I spoke with a very knowledgeable young man. I received my adapter and now my old lenses are very usable and I don't have to spend hundreds/thousands of dollars replacing them. I am now a very happy older person. Thank you B&H. I still have to work on lighting, focusing, etc. with this adapter but what a new challenge to have. 5 |

My Dad shot in his earlier years with a Canon AE-1 and an assortment of FD lenses. I need to get the camera back working, though the lenses are just fine. In the meantime, I bought this to use with my current main body--a Canon EOS R--and could not be happier with the chance to honor my Dad for first inspiring me to shoot! 5 |

This adapter works as advertised and allowed me to use my Canon zoom lenses. AF and AE work well with it. This is some cropping due to the fact that my lenses is not a full frame lens. 5 |

Our old Canon AE-1 Program's lenses are now useable on the new Canon EOS R5 camera. The adapter fits snugly on the lens as well as the camera. I am only an amateur photographer but highly recommend this adapter. 5 |

I started my photography path years ago with the Canon AE-1 - loved that camera - now I shoot with the Canon EOS Mark lV - I love this camera and when I purchases lens I stick with Canon - after all who would play well with the body of the camera? Canon lens. While I was shooting pictures while on safari in Africa I had a 100-200 - and shot excellent pictures. With this I can have great detail and a better overall pic - it's not good to get to close the the lions and cheetahs - they are not appreciative of having their picture taken..... And one cannot outrun them and they climb trees..... 5 |

I wanted to get a prime portrait lens but simply could not afford the Nikon lenses for my D7000. When I saw the Rokinon 85 mmf/1.4 with the AE chip on sale, I had a hard time saying no to this lens after reading the excellent reviews online.First, the construction is solid and offers metal construction in a market full of plastic lenses. The AE chip makes focus and exposure a simple matter. Bokeh is beautiful at f/1.4 and color clarity is as good as I've seen on lenses many times the price. If I had to criticize anything, it would have to be the hood which is relatively flimsy and tends to loosen, but you have to be real picky if that would keep you from considering this lens.In summary, do not be afraid to get this lens. You won't be disappointed 5 |
