Canon Announces Eos C100 Professional Video Camera

Works as advertised with my Canon EOS C100 Camera.

I use this on the 150-600mm Contemporary lens which I mainly use on my EOS C100 video camera. Surprisingly enough(!) the C100 Dual Pixel autofocus works reasonably well even with the 2001 installed. That said, I feel that at the effective 1200mm focal length manual focus yields somewhat better results, since the depth of field is quite narrow and moving objects (after all it IS video!!!) can easily go in and out of focus and cause a lot of hunting which also consumes a lot of battery power. But all things considered it's a good addition to a nice lens.

I had the original version of this lens when I had a Canon C100 video camera. I now have the new version of this lens and it is my preferred run&gun lens on my Z CAM E2-F6 video camera. Image quality is excellent.

Nicely recommended by B&H sales specialist. the mic would never be stable on my Canon EOS C100 without the rings. I put 3 rings on the NTG2 and placed it in the mic holder of the camera.

This lens set works seamlessly with the Canon EOS C100. My film students love them.
