The Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K is an amazing video camera for the price. The BMPCC 4K has a lot of high-end features for a compact body will sacrificing other components and features. I can highly recommend it and I promise you won't regret getting one of these for your production. 5 |

When I bought my Blackmagic pocket 4k, I knew I would want to use my canon lenses on it but didn't want to spend an insane amount of money on a metabones. Looking around I came upon this an was skeptical. it seemed too good to be true. Well I took a risk and I can say im very impressed. Having the benefit of using my EF glass along with an extra F stop is crazy! Using my 50 1.8 on my 80D I can get 1.3 on my pocket 4k, which is nuts! The conversion is very sharp as well, more than I expected. My only complaint about it is I cannot seem to get the lenses to enable auto focus on my pocket 4k. Besides that, its a great buy and I can recommend it to anyone using the bmpcc4k. P.S: only supports EF, not EF /s lenses. 5 |

I am using the metabones canon fd speedbooster on a blackmagic pocket 4k. I had been using a dummy/cheap adapter that didn't give the the ability to adjust the aperture and also put at 50mm lens at a 100mm range. The metabones speed booster has allowed me to get a much better field of view and has given me full control over aperture. I have used it in interviews and for documentary work. No issues at all. Putting it together with a canon fd lens gives a very film like look when graded in resolve and whwn attached to a poxket 4k camera. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. 5 |
