Canon Camera Replacement Battery

I needed a replacement battery for my Canon camera. This one was the same as my original battery that lasted 5 years.

The canon battery is much better than a off brand replacement, I learned this the hard way.

If you own a legacy Canon camera like the 1Ds MKII, you're going to need this battery eventually. Only replacement I could find online. It works and fits perfectly. Camera reads it. Works with Canon OEM charger just fine. Seems to hold a good charge for plenty of shots. Probably a good idea to get two, not sure how long these will be available. Price is great!

I lost my camera charger and battery and trying to find a replacement for the Canon charger through a store was pretty pricey. This one did the trick and worked on my current battery from Canon and I purchased a 2nd battery as a backup!!

A counterfeit charger and battery had come with my Canon 7D I had bought from an online auction. The camera would not recognize the battery at all after one use and recharge. I nearly sent the camera to Canon (who encouraged me to send the camera in to their service center to find the problem.) I saved myself a lot of money and time by first ordering genuine Canon replacement battery charger and batteries from B&H Photo online. Now the camera works just fine! My only suggestion to B&H would be to add the other cameras which are compatible with this charger - currently their online description of the product only lists EOS 5D V-II. I nearly went to another site searching for the proper replacement batteries and charger for my Canon 7D, but fortunately called B&H and they assured me it worked for other models as well. I would recommend they amend the website so they don't lose more potential customers.There are many counterfeits out there, claiming to work with Canon equipment or even claiming to be Canon products. I encourage you to buy genuine OEM parts and only from a reputable photo supply company. Thank you! Terri Aigner

I bought some Artman LP-E17 replacement batteries for my Canon R8. First time I used my camera they worked fine, but a few days later I turned on my camera again to use it and it started turning off/then on again on it's own. I tried removing the battery then reinserting it - same thing. Finally put the original Canon battery back in and everything was fine. Guess I'll just stick with brand name batteries.

This is the replacement battery to keep the time and date in my Canon camera. I opened the battery compartment with a small phillips head screwdriver. The CR1220 battery matched the old battery in size and form factor. I removed the old battery and replaced it with this one. I closed the camera and set the time and date. The replacement is working very well

This is the right replacement, and the life of battery is as good as the one that came with camera.
