Canon Cameras Professional Photography

I purchased this in order to use an external flash for professional portrait photography. B&H Photography had it for less than Canon did. I am a semi-professional photographer. By that I work a normal job and get photography jobs randomly. One of my regularly scheduled events is a conference 3 times a year that requires me to move around a large arena quickly, with heavier lenses, but without distracting the audience if at all possible. For years I strapped on two cameras with their own straps and it was just incredibly difficulty and strenuous on my neck. A year ago I started using the Money Maker by Holdfast gear and the difference was night and day. I can carry two cameras for 3-4 hours at a time and never feel fatigued. As well, I usually have a monopod on one of my lenses and the cameras hang where it doesn't bang around or hit others. As a female photographer, I can't imagine doing multi-camera shoots without it. With the recent price drop I decided to pick up one of these cameras. It is a great all around camera for general purpose use. Being their flagship, Canon throws in everything and the kitchen sink. There are many features to cover every type of professional photography from portrait to photojournalism to professional sports. Even as an amateur I benefit from features like the built in GPS and extremely fast operation. This camera just moves faster than the 5 series cameras that I have used. The huge battery and built in grip are amazing. Being a Canon camera, the ergonomics and user experience are top notch. Now the cons. It's not a travel camera. It's big and heavy and robust. It only has 20mp but for most uses 20mp is more than sufficient. I have a Canon 5DSR that I can use when I need the resolution. This camera and the 5DSR complement each other very well with each being the opposite of the other. The 5DSR is slower, smaller, lower ISO, but with higher resolution. The 1DX Mark II is bigger, faster, higher ISO, but lower resolution. Overall I am very happy that I was able to add this caliber of camera to my kit because of the discounted price. I would take this over a new mirrorless camera any day.

Having utilized Canon professional cameras for over 40 years, I can tell you that I am extremely impressed with the EOS 5D Mark IV. The camera is extremely versatile. The camera has the ability to work in extremely low light. The colors that are produced are vivid and have great depth. If you take scenic photos or portraits, studio or outdoors, this is the camera for you.

I have several of these for my various Canon cameras, none of which are professional size. I get this size so that the bodies fit comfortably with a grip or wrist strap attached. Works great.

I had a few cameras from the same series. This camera is very easy to use, the photos are high quality and always canon cameras are very professional- very satisfied!!!

I use these on all of my canon cameras and lenses.  I bought this particular filter for my XA11 professional camcorder.  It has a fixed lens which makes protecting it even more important. I have never had any issues with these filters.  There are probably cheaper options out there but with the Canon brand I know I am getting quality.
