Canon Digital Camera Or Iphone

At last I will be able to shoot digital photos with something besides by iPhone.

Using the tripod with my iPhone and a compact digital camera. Solidly built and does all I expected. And the price is low compared to the other models offered. No negatives to mention.

I use the on my Canon EOS M mirrorless digital camera works good. all is well.

I use the product to monitor audio recorded from an external microphone (RODE NTG2) into a Canon 5DMkII. I was told by an employee at B&H that other camera audio monitoring solutions (Magic Lantern, etc.) can potentially void the warranty on the Canon camera. Scary. Controlling audio input during recording is overrated. The Sescom is a safe alternative. Just set a healthy audio input level in the settings and let it be. Also, it works on the iPhone!! Amazing. I use my iPhone as a field recorder using the RODE app. I hook up the Sescom cable with a boom pole, shotgun mic, set of heaphones, and my iPhone. Super slick and mobile system. Then I just send the files from my app to my computer via Dropbox.

I have several of these and always keep one spare. I use them on my G9XMKII pocket camera, iPhone, even my Canon R50. I can swap it out for a wrist or neck strap when needed. Gives you that extra confidence that you aren't going to drop the camera.

I bought this to replace my iPhone as my hiking camera. The Canon 6D + lens is just too heavy for hiking. I shot 30+ test images of both cameras at full open and f8.0. I shot them at focal lengths from wide open to full telephoto. The images were very comparable. My only negative: It's too darn small! The buttons require a careful and precise finger press. But it's great to stuff it in my pocket.

I love this camera it is the best of the best for a digital camera.
