Canon Digital Ixus 430 Camera

The Vello Mini-Softbox works with just about any camera mounted flash unit. I got it for my Canon 430 EXIII and it gives me just the right amount of softness with very little loss of output. It collapses to a flat shape and easily fits in my camera case with the flash. All in all, I think this is an essential accessory for any camera mounted flash.

Nothing but good things to say about this kit. I've used it with my Canon 7d, 580 ex II, and 430 ex speedflashes, and it works very well in portraits and some creative work I've done. I always shoot my flashes in manual mode, so the lack of ettl settings doesn't bother me. I also love the fact that this unit doubles as a wireless shutter release with no need for line of sight(radio waves instead of infra red). They do feel like they are manufactured a little on the flimsy side, but I haven't done any harm to them yet. Excellent product for a fair price. I can buy 3 of these setups for 1 pocket wizard setup, so the value is there too.

I have only used it once. I used it this last Sunday to take pictures of my twin grandchildren for senior high school pictures. Very well made. I use canon 430 ex iii rt it worked as advertised. Looking forward to the next time I can use it.

I have no complaints. I find it to be easy to use. The only thing that I have to compare to is my Canon 430 EX II. The build quality is roughly similar, though not quite up to Canon's fit and finish. The bottom line is that I think the flash will meet my needs. I'm crossing my fingers that it will stand the test of time. The manual is poorly translated. I wish that I could that I could give a more meaningful review. But, I'm new to flash photography.

I got this diffuser along with the canon 430 ex II speed light. I've used the combo for a wedding I shot last weekend, and the diffuser had a great fit, stayed on the speed light with no troubles and helped diffuse the flash which otherwise may have caused harsh shadows.

I bought this umbrella to soften a Canon Speedlite 430. When I showed my wife my umbrella her jaw fell to the ground because of how big it is. I was a little worried it would get in the way in small spaces, but I have not had any problems as of yet. It does a wonderful job of providing a nice soft light. It works well as both a bounce and shoot through umbrella.I highly recommend this umbrella for those thinking about a larger light source.

I wanted a diffuser to soften the light from my flash. This fit just great on my Canon Speedlight 430 EXII. Highly recommend.
