Canon Digital Ixus 80 Is Camera Review

Had a few pieces of old glass from my film days back in the 80's and 90's. The adapter allows me to use them with my digital camera (no autofocus, but I knew that when I purchased it). Nice addition to my working camera bag.

For years I thought, why can't camera manufacturers make a digital camera with the classic lines of the 80's. Now I have one on display next to my Nikon FM2N. I love the Nikon Z fc!

I use this product to print photos taken with my digital camera. The 80 weight soft gloss HP photo paper always produces the best result for high quality photos. I would prefer to buy it in higher bulk than 25 sheets per package and that's the only negative. I would prefer to buy 100 sheets or 50 sheets per package but it is difficult to find and B & H doesn't offer it in that volume.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Canon Zoom Digital Monocular is so much better than expected. First, I love the small size of the camera. You can slip it into your pocket and take it anywhere. It is so lovely being able to take pictures of just about anything. Do you see something you like far away? It is not a problem with this camera. It has such an incredible zoom capability. You can take close-up pictures of sports games and nature or use it as an everyday traveling camera. It also takes video. I appreciate the Bluetooth connection to your phone. It makes image transfer so easy. With the invention of cameras on smartphones, I never thought I would want to carry a camera again, but now that I have this camera, I have completely changed my mind. My phone’s camera does not even compare to this one. It is in a whole other league.

I like so many things about this bag! I have room for my Canon 50D, plus an 80-200mm, either on the camera or off plus three other lenses, 2 batteries and a charger, lens cleaning kit etc. I wanted a bag that would fit my camera with a battery grip and my long lens attached. I like the color and softness and the way it doesn't bounce around when I carry it. I had gotten the a little smaller bag first and will use it for short day trips when I know what I will be photographing. The clips are a little troublesome at times but I mostly just use the velcro. I still have some extra room with all the above mentioned articles thrown in...oh, and of course my manual and a field guide. It is easy to get my camera out of this bag in a hurry...all in all I am VERY satisfied with it! I like the fact that it is not black and does not look like a camera bag.

I use the on my Canon EOS M mirrorless digital camera works good. all is well.

Vello RS-C11 plugged into my Canon 80 D without any difficulty. When turned on by pushing the button on the device to the on position, works quietly with normal pressure. I use it to operate the shutter in my camera remotely to minimize shake. The attached cord is long so be careful not to tangle it up with your equipment when using it. You may wish to use some sort of tie to shorten the cord. No noticeable power drain when operating the camera. Does not require batteries to operate.

I have bought this cover for my Canon 80 d. It helps me protect my camera when I use it and when I store it on the cupboard. Besides, it sticks to my hands making dropping not easy.

I use it as a back up for my digital camera.

I was a newspaper photographer in 70's and 80's got out when digital was coming in. I recently went back to work for a newspaper and this book has really helped get me back up to speed. I still have aways to go, but i will take this book every step of the way.
