I have 20 years of digital fine art printing. My previous printer was the Canon IPF 6400 24 inch. After numerous issues, I decided to go smaller. It came down to the 17 inch Canon and this one. The rebate came up in December for this so I ordered it. Setup was less than 1/2 hour, including ink inializiaton. My paper of choice for the past 2 years has been Awagami Bamboo 170. I found a profile on their website. With minor tweaking, I saved a preset for the soft proof and printed a couple photos using my RIP. Came out pretty good. Paper transport worked fine. Still have 1/5 or so of all ink cartridges left. So far everything is running smoothly. 5 |

Printing my Editorial portfolio was my first experience with digital printing. This paper worked well with the Epson 4900, and I had zero problems using it. My images came out looking professional, and I would buy this product again for my Illustration portfolio! 5 |

Newswear tried and true, field tested gear . Replaced my Digital Chest Vest with Press Pouch belt system. I put my gear through some adverse conditions in extreme environments and have never been let down. 5 |

I use the Epson Hot Press Natural (all cut sizes up to 17x22) for most of my fine art prints. The paper is slightly warm toned and smooth, and has great detail sharpness and color range. It prints well in my Epson 3880 through the rear manual load tray. Handling is much better than other matte fine art papers I've used. It does not flake, so I have found I don't need to brush or blow off the surface prior to printing, and the surface is more durable after printing. 5 |
