Canon Digital Rebel Xt Specs

Having fell in love with the Canon Digital Rebel XT and the ease of use for an amateur I thought it would not be possible to have a better easy-to-use pro-like camera. I was wrong! I am in love again with my new Canon EOS 50D. All my Canon lens fit my new camera body so I am good to go. What an awesome intuitive camera.

We have had our Canon Digital Rebel XT for over 3 years now and we have been waiting for a lens like this since then. We initially bought the 17-85mm IS lens, which was a great lens. This lens has not disappointed. It's great to have the extra range so that we don't have to carry 2 lenses like we used to (had the 75-300mm lens as well).

This is a great battery replacement for my Canon Digital Rebel xt. It's affordable, and the shipping was pretty quick.

Just starting out with more advanced photos. I am using this with a Rebel Digital XT. Does exactly what I wanted. Would reccommend this to anyone.

I bought this for my Rebel XT to make up for stored glass that I couldn't use with the digital. I did have problems at first and was not surprised because of the low price. After a few tests it turned out to be a bad filter. The ghosting was gone but the contrast is a bit flat. PhotoShop fixed that and for a lens under $200.00 I'm happy. The real test was shooting the Red Bull air racers in SD. A little flat but very sharp.

I've shot with the original Digital Rebel, XT, XTi, XSi, T1i and T4i plus 60D and even 5D MK I (first version.) Shooting travel and underwater images my #1 requirement these days is WEIGHT. It is perfect fit on my Canon Rebel XT(350d) and Nikon 40D. I think price is pretty reasonable. It isn't give me perfect protection so that never trust when you drop pouched camera. Even though it is not a weatherproof or waterproof, it can protect in mild rainy day or from moistures. I washed and while washing, I tested it with shower spray. Water wasn't easy to leak into inside of pouch and later, water finally got into pouch.

I have a Canon EOS Rebel Xt with an EFS 18-55mm lens; the cover fits perfectly. Just came back from Florida; was able to place the cover on the camera and throw it in my backpack without any harm to the camera.

Purchased to replace the flash card in a Canon Rebel XT so I could transfer photos directly to iPad from sd card. Works great and fits in the flash card slot. Great value to keep an older camera body current.

For years I have used a Canon Rebel XT for astrophotography, I finally decided it was time to modernize, and I'm very happy I did. Best points for me: -The tilt-able view screen and Live View mode is a real back-saver: no more contortions to see through the view finder -Long exposure noise reduction does dark frame capture and subtraction -Controls are similar enough in layout that by the end of the first night I was not fumbling to find things in the dark -The only downside is the size of the images means processing takes longer :-) I've uploaded an image that combines the best 8 (of 16) 90s exposures of M51 the Whirlpool Galaxy. ISO 1600. Noise reduction on. cropped (not resized) to 1920x1080 and converted to png for use as wallpaper.
