This is a great cover for an EOS 1D or any other Canon SLR with a battery extension. Despite the rather intriguing style, it is great for protecting the camera when you just want to throw it in a backpack and not worry about it. This particular one is big enough to handle my Canon EOS 5D with an EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM lens but it is a bit snug with the 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS Lens. 5 |

I've always used a filter on my SLR lenses so when I got my brand new Canon EOS digital SLR I was surprised that the color of the first few shots was off. Then I remembered the filter. All good now!!! 5 |

Having used my EOS-1D X since Nov 2012, I wasn't sure how Canon could make much of an improvement on this fantastic camera. That is, until my EOS-1D X Mk II arrived and I began to see the huge leaps in technology this new camera offers. The in focus hit rate (already great with the original 1DX) for fast and or erratic moving subjects is just unbelievable! Living in the American southwest, the variety of subjects available to the photographer are vast and challenging...the 1DX2 captures them perfectly. I'm impresses with the picture quality and dynamic range of the new 20mp sensor. Although it's only a two mp increase over the Original model, Canon has made great improvements to it. The Dual Pixel AF for live view is a great advancement and makes for more precise focusing than before! Although I wish Canon had included built in wifi instead of GPS, I can see the benefit for some pro photographers. having used the 1DX2 for almost a month now, I'm very happy I made the purchase! I still love my original 1DX and will use it as my second body, replacing my trusty 5D2. 5 |

I recently bought this case to hose one of my SLR cameras(Canon EOS rebel TI). I put the camera in the case as shown in the pictures and found that i did not like the pressure that was felt closing the lid. Instead, I took the lens off the camera and laid it on it's back. I also made a place for the lens and 3 (three) spare rolls of film. the lid closes much easier in I am pleased with the results. I will be buying another case for my Rebel T3. I will buy a bigger case for my AE1-Program, lenses, and flash units. 5 |

After shooting Canon for 16 years, I sold my EOS SLR along with all my lenses in-order to get this camera. I'm not going to reiterate all the superlatives and instead recommend this camera to anyone who shoots at least 50% of their work in video. 5 |

30 plus years of being a Canon SLR owner and aside from the EOS 3 film camera, this is the best thus far. I am very pleased at being back to a full frame image sensor for several reasons, some of which are improved low light performance, less digital noise at higher ISOs, and more tonal range within shadows and highlights, making detail and color much improved at both ends of the spectrum. 5 |

I've been exploring super telephoto lenses for over a year, so when I read about this lens, with Diffractive Optic engineering which allowed it to be portable, I was intrigued. I had rented a 400mm f/5.6 and was underwhelmed. I purchased, then returned the Tamron 150-600mm, again underwhelmed (hanging AF issues on Canon, images too soft), and slowly came round that you get what you pay for. Life is too short for inferior photos. And there is nothing like the sensation of pointing a lens at your subject, be it still or moving, and the camera and lens is sympatico with the photographer. You get that sense with this lens!I've had this lens about 3 weeks and every day I am blown away by its capabilities. I have it on a Canon EOS-1D X. Interesting to note that in the lens manual on p 1 of the English instructions, it says The Image Stabilizer gives the equivalent effect of a shutter speed 4 stops faster when using an EOS-1D X - based on CIPA (Camera & Imaging Products Association( standards). Good to know, and it feels that way. I live in wide open spaces and have great photo ops, but they are often hundreds, if not a couple thousand feet away. This lens is tack sharp, and has no problem doing that... 200% crops no problem, and often 300% is still astonishing. Blazing fast AF... nearly telepathic! I've tried this lens on everything... landscape, still portraits, action, BIF... getting the photos I've always dreamed of. I'm attaching pic samples.Yes, it is expensive... but compared to its competition, it's a bargain. The 400mm f/2.8 is $10k and you have to have it on a monopod/tripod. I hike around with this lens... and to my knowledge there is no other glass of this quality that you can say that about. We all find ways to afford the stuff that's really important to us. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. 5 |
