I'm a photography newbie. I recently purchased the Canon EOS Rebel T3 kit with the 18mm-55mm lens. After doing some research, I found this was the correct model for this lens. I never encountered too much lens flare to begin with, but the other function of this lens hood is what prompted me to give it 5 stars. You see, it acts as a great lens protector and that's exactly what it did for my camera. I dropped it twice and without the hood, my lens would have been ruined. But the Vello EW-60 did it's job and I still have an intact lens. Buy it. You won't regret it. 5 |

I bought a EOS DIGITAL REBEL SL2 in 2017 when released. After a few thousand photos and numerous videos I decided to get another. As an old amateur photographer(79) I now have a complete small travel bag. I've always used a filter on my SLR lenses so when I got my brand new Canon EOS digital SLR I was surprised that the color of the first few shots was off. Then I remembered the filter. All good now!!! 5 |
