Canon First Digital Camera

I use the on my Canon EOS M mirrorless digital camera works good. all is well.

First off - don’t believe the L Mount junk everyone is saying. There is a large offering of lenses releasing soon and the F4 24-105 is so incredible it could come glued to the camera and I doubt I’d care! Additionally, I have the sigma EF adapter and use a Canon 50mm 1.4 and a Canon 70-200 2.8 and they look insanely good as well on this camera. Second - I came from GH5 AND Sony A9 AND Sony A7iii... this camera replaced ALL THREE off those cameras with flying colors even before the Vlog upgrade that’s about to drop! User Interface - Nothing beats Lumix! Color Science - Very good. Low Light - Beats even the Sony’s Focus - Photos, completely useable... not quite as fast or accurate as Sony A9 but very very close. Video, No less reliable than the Sony. Meaning that even on both cameras you’re going to have to watch these cameras depending on what you’re filming and make sure they nailed it. I struggle no less with this than with the Sony.

First I want to say I am an amateur photography enthusiast and I was gifted this camera for my Birthday. I previously used the wonderful Canon T6s and I must say that although I was a bit intimidated making the switch, the upgrade was painless. I've learned to use this camera very quickly and I could not recommend it enough. If you can afford it, buy it! You won't be sorry. It's got an amazing auto-focus system and really takes advantage of all of Canon's EF lenses. I paired it with two 'L' lenses and I was blown away! I travel frequently and although it is much larger than entry-level DSLRs, I have no problem carrying it everywhere I go. If you're looking for the best, here it is.

This camera is great. First, it includes all the fantastic features that Canon is known for, including it's sharp picture, viewing features, various shooting modes, high resolution and digital zoom, etc... Best of all it's smaller than a pack of gum or cigarettes so you can put it in your pocket and take it anywhere!

This is our third Canon Powershot camera. First two are still functioning but just wanted newer features and speed of latest models. Excellent choice for point and shoot applications

First of all, I do not use a neck strap for my camera. I have an Op/Tech grip strap for my Canon EOS 20D that has been wonderful. It is useful, in that, my camera is always at the ready and keeps the camera safe from dropping. I often hold the camera over the side of the ship's railing while on cruises, knowing that the camera is secured to my wrist. Also, since the grip strap attaches to my wrist, I literaly do not have to hang onto it and can rest and flex my fingers while carrying it around. My complaint with the new grip strap that I purchased for my EOS T2i is that it has a quick release which is bulky under the fold of the strap. I prefer the strap only model which is more comfortable.
