I come from a canon body and I always hesitated on converting into Sony because I invested in so much money on different canon lenses, but both Canon and Nikon has fell far behind on the full-sensor mirrorless body that it forced my hand to convert to Sony and I am not disappointed. The feel is like a true DSLR body, before the A7RIV, I didn’t like the feel of the smaller body, but this version just feels right and I have big hands too. All my old canon lenses works fine with this Sony body thanks to the sigma Mc-11. The autofocus works fine even with an extender of 1.4x that suppose to loose one stop of light. Even on my old canon body with the extender, the AF would not work properly but on this Sony body it did! This camera is so smart with the eye autofocus, whatever I want to shoot I point at it and it starts tracking without any problem. It even has animal eye detection so if you shoot wildlife, this is for you. Especially with that larger buffer, you can hold down that shutter Button like a machine gun and it just keeps going and going. The images are sharp and beautiful with that crazy 61 mp, even on crop mode it is still one of the highest mp on the market. Low lighting didn’t have any issues even with all that mp. The EVF is very sharp and beautiful with more than 5 million dots. Two things I didn’t quite like is 1.) the Touch screen is still fairly old tech, canon did a better screen so displaying the pictures looks better, the zoom doesn’t take you all the way in, and touch and drag is smoother on the canon. 2.) I did wish they put a door in front of the sensor when turned off, otherwise changing between lenses you will eventually get some dust particles in there. Other than that, it’s an amazing camera, I am now officially a Sony fanboy!

I really like this focusing rack. I just recently bought the Canon MP-E 65mm Macro and as a beginner in Macro work this lens can be challenge to work with. I don't personally think it is even usable for someone like me without having a focus rack. I also use this with macro extension tubes, makes that much easier in some circumstances. I can see how this might be beneficial outside of macro work but have not attempted to use it for that purpose yet. This rack is durable, easy to add and remove from the tripod and makes the focusing extremely easy. I would definitely recommend this product.

This flash rocks! I use it on a Canon 100mm macro and the Canon MP-E 65mm macro and couldn't be more pleased. It might not have the build quality of the Canon version, it comes really close, at 1/5th the price it is a steal. I've got over a thousand flashes with this unit and it hasn't failed once. As far as the notorious "battery door", I have changed batteries numerous times and not had a problem; it's like anything else, treat it properly and it will last. If you go ogle "Diffuser kit for YongnuoYN-24EX" you will find a very good 3D printed diffuser kit for this flash.

I bought this for use with a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens to eliminate glare during macro photography. The thin profile, rotating ring, and high optical quality make this a 5 star product.

I am using the MP-101 Pan Head with a Canon 5D Mark II on top of a 10 ft light stand and am very pleased with its performance. It is movements are very smooth and quiet. Battery life is very good.
