Canon Image Stabilizer

We have other Canon image stabilizer binoculars but these are by far the sharpest.

This lens is extremely sharp! And I am not easily impressed as I already got Canons 300 mm f2.8 IS L as well as Canons 500 mm F4 IS L and 9 other L-lenses. Expensive, yes, but the overall image quality (both on my 1ds MarkII & III) is simply stunning. Portraits, animals, sport, flowers, etc. all superb results. The image stabilizer really works perfectly. And combined with the shutter speed you get at F2, a lot of former impossible 200 mm telephotos now become possible. I got lots of really nice photos with shutter speed as low as 1/20 second. My Canon 70-200 mm f2.8 IS L has image stabilize too (and low F-number), but it doesnt work nearly as well as Canon 200 mm f2. My Canon 70-200 mm f4 IS L has a great image stabilizer, but only f4 which is not enough in many low-light situations (apart from that, it is a superb zoom). Is it a heavy and huge 200 mm lens? Yes, it is, but it is still easily handheld - and the IQ you get makes you forget all about potentially sore muscle the next day! If you got the money, go for it youll not regret it!

I am really impressed with this little super camera! The image quality and color rendition are amazing. Image stabilizer works like a charm and I was able to get clean sharp images even at 1/4th of a second. Ricoh GR series have always been great, and the GRiii is simply one of the best out there!

This camera is great for sports and the image stabilizer is awesome! Highly recommend!

It's an amazing machine. The most useful feature of the Ef Macro lens is IS (image stabilizer).

Fast autofocus, beautiful bokeh, low price, image stabilizer, sharp photos.

Very crisp lens with nice colors. The addition of the image stabilizer adds cost, but after you get over that it's very nice to have that feature added to a prime lens like this.

The optical image stabilizer works really well. Zoom is good. Very light weight and fits nicely in my hand. I was looking for a quality camera without a hefty pricetag and this camera fits that and more. Picture quality on my 42 LCD is sharp and the colors are true. I am also impressed with this camera's ability to shoot and focus in low-light situations. Overall, I'm very happy with this camera. It was hard-earned money well spent.

I chose this lens over the very highly regarded and less expensive Sony 85mm f/1.8, because it has an image stabilizer and is weather sealed. I should also mention that the auto focus on this lens is excellent.
