The regular size ink cartridge works good. In the pass I have bought the XL but have never had any of them stay usable for the whole amount of ink in the product. The cartridge always went bad before it was empty. But all the regular size ones worked fine. 5 |

I've used Canon printers for my text printing for a long time not just because of the printing quality but the economy of the ink. The XL tanks have taken the economy to a new level. For a 12% increase in cost you get twice as much ink. How can you not buy the XL? 5 |

The XL model I guess has more ink. If you want your printer to recognize with status correctly. You really need to purchase the Canon cartridges. 5 |

It seems that getting style 281 XL ink is expensive! This packaged assortment is a good value and allows you and me to order the colored inks, which I use less than the black, without the large black cartridge, which I need more frequently. It is a good value and cost considerably less than ordering each color separately. I am not comfortable using other than Canon's ink in my Canon printer as the quality of the refills is inconsistent. 5 |
