Canon Ixy Digital 55 Camera

I got this with my new Canon 7DMKII from B&H as a replacement for the original 18-55 packaged with my original Digital Rebel and what an excellent lens! Sharp, quiet and versatile!

This is a most to be used with the Canon 18-55 IS.

I'm enjoying using this 55-200mm lens with my new Nikon D-90 digital camera. I wanted new camera equipment for a long time and I'm glad I chose Nikon as I like the bayonet mount and the ability to choose manual zoom with automatic focus. With this lens, I got a wonderful family photo and also zoomed in on grandchildren's antics as well as nature's beauty.

I use this 52-55 step-up ring with my filters from a previous film camera to fit a new digital lens. The ring is much less expensive than a new set of filters!

I use the on my Canon EOS M mirrorless digital camera works good. all is well.

As of this writing there are two field recording external microphones for iPhones that utilize the Lightning connector. Zoom iQ7 and the RODE iXY. Essential to the use of the microphones are two apps available through the Apple store. RODE Rec sells for $5.99 and the ZOOM Handy Rec is free. Both apps will work just fine with the built-in microphone in the iPhone and both apps are interchangeable for either the ZOOM iQ7 or the RODE iXY. The ZOOM iQ7 costs about one half the list price for the RODE iXY. I bought the ZOOM iQ7 and am very happy with it. I don't have any way to compare the two directly. The RODE iXY may well be worth the additional cost but I suggest that any potential buyers compare the specs of the two units. I am using the RODE Rec recording app with the ZOOM iQ7 and find it far superior in terms of flexibility. I suspect that both of these apps are just a little past beta testing and there could be improvements in future upgrades. The cost of RODE Rec is nominal in my view and I would recommend anyone interested in these accessory microphones to try both apps.

I have been searching for the best deals on lenses for my camera and this EF-S 55-250mm is the perfect lens for mid to long range shooting. It even has image stabilization so no one will be able to tell how shaky your hands actually are.

The Canon Rebel T7 with the 18-55 mm lens and the 75-300 mm zoom lens is an excellent value for beginners. The quality of the equipment is top-notch and the extra perks that come with camera are a bonus value. I'm enjoying the camera and lenses and the excellent photos this camera produces. I am a cheap skate amateur with a Canon T3i, 55-250 telephoto lens, Velo VEEXTCD extension tube set. I take mostly macro pictures; portraits of bugs, flowers, and other small stuff. I really like using this remote switch with my camera on a monopod or tripod. The switch is smooth and reliable. It prevents me from moving the camera. I think it is well worth the money. Craig
