Canon L Lenses List

I find this Product a must have for using a micro four thirds camera such as the Panasonic Lumix GH4. I own both of these products and have previously used canon gear. my wife has a canon camera and lenses so this way we can use the same lenses. this also gives the benefit of using larger better lenses for the Micro Four Thirds format. The product works as advertised and i love it. it even has an aperture dial on the side which i had not previously realized. I hadn't realized until i got it that it doesn't accept EF-S mount lenses, but i should have gathered this. Definitely check the list of what lenses will Autofocus accurately. I am using the Canon 50mm F1.4 and the AF leaves something to be desired even though it is on the accurate list. it is not always accurate and is slow. but this could be caused by any of the 3 products. Overall I recommend this product to anyone especially to take the GH4 to the next level.

I tried Canon EF 300mm 1:4L IS on my Fuji X-T2 and it worked in AF and MF, in single shot mode, aperture priority and P mode, with IS and w/o IS. I did not try other camera modes. This lens is on the list of tested lenses. I also tried Sigma 150mm APO Macro DG lens. This lens is NOT on the list of tested lenses and it did not work. It might work in the future, if it is included in one of the future hardware updates. Performance of the adapter also depends on your camera. Helpful info can be found on the Fringer web site. All in all - I am happy with the adapter.

The controls and movements are of a top quality. I had previously own TS lenses but this one has to be on the top of the list.

I have many Pentax Lenses.. this is at the top of the list for being incredibly sharp throughout it's F stop and zoom range.. My only slight complaint is it is big and heavy.. but with F2.8 that is to be expected.. it is very quiet.. fast focus.. nothing to complain about if you do not mind it's weight. And I don't!

Its an excellent camera, in my opinion Canon is the best brand for cameras, at list for a home use.

If you love everything about Lensbaby lenses, this should be on top of the list! This is my second Lensbaby product and it's not at all disappointing! If you follow through how to use Lensbaby in general with manual focus, this is super easy to adapt and the bokeh is simply beautiful.

I actually thought I would never have a chance to own one of these 500mm PF lenses. I have been on the waiting list since they came out and they have always been unavailable. When B&H listed them on sale I took a chance and ordered one even though they were still out of stock. For me, this is an upgrade from the Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6. As everyone has said, this lens is light, very sharp and fast focusing. that is only half the story, this is one of those lenses that performs even better than its specs. I am using it on a D500 and it balances beautifully with that body. It has some extra touches like the memory recall buttons that can be set to AF-L or AF-ON. This is a very useful addition. I uploaded some pictures, one static image and two birds in flight. I'm still learning how to use this lens but as you can see it is very capable.

I had many bags and this one tops them all. It holds a lot. Many compartments for lenses, flash unit, filters, batteries. The list is too big to list. I use a satellite bag with this for on the go. No more 3 and 4 bags. You won’t be disappointed.

Sigma has a list of compatible lenses for this adapter, and technically only guarantees compatibility with lenses on that list. Over the years I've accumulated a few Sigma lenses, and while contemplating a switch from Canon to Sony, wanted to know if I'd be able to use some of my existing lenses. I have an older 15-30mm full frame, a zoom 50-500mm, an 8-16mm crop sensor lens, and a 24-300 crop sensor. Only the last lens is on the Sigma compatibility list. The adapter worked for all lenses. Autofocus and aperture settings well controlled by the Sony A7r ii. I love how Sony detects the crop lens and automatically captures the smaller area. Autofocus on the zoom at 500mm seemed to hunt before finding the right spot, but I think that's more due to the focal length and not any issue with either the adapter or the camera. Only minor problem I had was with the oldest lens of the bunch (15-30mm), the camera thought I had an extra f-stop or two. Auto exposure worked fine, but when I choose the aperture there were smaller settings available than the lens could support. Choosing one of those, the camera would simply not take a picture, and if I pressed the shutter it would no longer work even if I moved away from the incorrect aperture setting. Turning the camera off and on reset things. So if I use that lens, all I need to do is keep it fully automatic, or know not to choose the bottom f-stop. Just a minor issue with an admittedly unsupported lens. Very pleased with the adapter. I can use it to permanently use the bigma 50-500mm zoom, and use the crop sensor lenses until I'm ready to upgrade to Sony compatible and full frame replacements.

The 2x teleconverter works very well on specific Nikon lenses. Nikon has a list of compatible lenses. On my Nikkor 400mm f/2.8 and 70-200mm f/2.8 lenses I have use of auto focus. There is a 2 stop loss of light, which is not a problem for these lenses. The shots are sharp and I am very satisfied with the teleconverter. It is well constructed, but adds a little extra weight.
