If you have a Canon Printer these produce outstanding results as profiles are in software. 5 |

I worried I would have difficulty setting up the printer as we aren't wireless here. Step 6, "Install Software," provided the website to download the current software/drivers from to my computer and I followed the online directions. Snap. A word to the wise: BEFORE doing any setup, look for the Serial Number on the printer and take a picture of it. I found it on the bottom of the printer. Once you fill the ink, you can't tip the copier to find it! I suggest a copy as you will have a ready reference anytime you need that serial number (or any other product info). We didn't and my husband had to hold the printer while I got under it to take a photo. I gave 4 stars on quality only because the power plug seemed to pop out too easily. I had my husband push it in and I think we're good now. If not, a little Gorilla tape should do it! 5 |

I had the LBP6000 printer and I loved it. Well....when you upgrade software one time too many, the software downloads at Canon can't keep up so my 6000 was kaput. argh. (hope my tech lingo is right!) At any rate, I called Canon, told them my dilemma and they advised I purchase the 6030w. Prints just as fast, same size, but has a grey lid....preferred the other. I fear upgrading my mac anymore! Canon's imageClass is truly the best little printer I've ever had....doesn't have all the bells and whistles but it does what I need perfectly perfect. 5 |

This printer replaced a 10+ yr old Canon printer. - installation was easy (windows). I strongly recommend going with the full package that Canon marks as 'Recommended'. I tried taking a short cut first, and it did not work. Not worth spending the time to do a more tailored install. Getting it going with the recommended installation package was easy. - The software usability has improved a lot since the older version that I used with my previous printer. However I have not tried everything that I did with the old software yet. - Print quality is more than adequate. - I am using wifi to connect to the printer. I have test printed from multiple devices -- no problems at all. - Have not tried printing from a phone or tablet yet. Highly recommended for home use. 5 |

After three days of struggling unsuccessfully with the software for the Canon TS202 printer, I gave up and ordered a HP “Envy Pro 6455”, on the advice of a “chat expert” at B&H Photo, NYC. Within three hours of that compulsive decision, I went back, also compulsively, to the Canon software and found the problem in the third shell of their program: here where you enter margins, paper size, color controls, etc, etc, there is also a list of the all the formats included with the printer and all those you have created and saved. For that list there is a seemingly useless control to change the order of the items on the list (no explanation of why you’d want to do so). That’s where I discovered that if you want your paper/page definition to apply, you must move it to the top of the list. What a rabbit tunnel! Once this is done, this printer prints envelopes and all sorts of cards very well. 5 |

We've used Canons for years and this is a good addition with an easy to use control panel and solid features. The large capacity (10k pages) toner cartridge makes it a solid deal that I couldn't find for less anywhere else. There are some quirks, for example initiating scan to computer from the printer did not work properly until I uninstalled previous versions of canon software that came with one of the other canon printers that we have and then reinstalled the software that came with this unit. But it was possible to overcome this and otherwise we encountered no issues with setup or during use. It is a very economical printer with the large capacity toner cartridge. 5 |

this printer exceeded my expectations! After learning the Canon Professional Print & layout software, the Pixma Pro 200 is not only affordable but the quality of the prints are nothing more than amazing! 5 |

I am very happy with the results I'm getting with Platinum paper. I am using a Canon printer with Canon ink and Canon software, but I'm sure the results would be great with most photo printers. The colors are very rich, contrasting, and leaves an almost wet look. The sheen is great for fine art. In a brighter room I tend to lean more towards Luster to cut reflections but other than that this is my go to! I have it in 13 x 19 as well that I use primarily for landscapes with beautiful results 5 |

Impressed and satisfied with the quality of this printer and prints. Certainly, a bargain at the price point. Coming from owning a Canon Wide Format 24" printer for over a decade it does more than an adequate job. It does not have all the bells and whistles but delivers high quality prints. The versatility / controls for this printer depends on the software program from which you print. Important Note: The printer is shipped with a CD / DVD with installation software etc. whose version is 2013. My Win 10 desk computer does not have a CD / DVD reader. I am not a computer savvy guy so I struggled trying to download the latest software drivers etc. from Canon's web site and installing them, without success. Eventually I decided to see if the computer recognized the printer via the USB connection. Control Panel Hardware & Sound View Devices & Printers. Double clicking on the iP8720 icon immediately went to the internet and brought up the latest software and allowed l me to make the installation, fantastic. Really appreciate B&H's fast delivery!! 5 |

I am in the process of digitizing photos. I did not want to wear out my combination printer/scanner so I purchased this Canon scanner for photo duty. My printer/scanner is a Canon so the software integrates with both with no problems. One thing that is a huge benefit with the Canon software is it will automatically crop the photos when they are scanned...depending on the physical size of the photos, put as many as possible on the flatbed (there must be some space between for proper cropping) and the software will automatically crop the individual pictures. This is a huge time saver. I have already scanned close to two hundred photos and have several hundred more to go. I am confident that the LIDE300 will continue the job. There are other types of photo scanners that are more proficient but this model is by far the most economical. Scanning time is quick. By the time I get the next batch out of the album, the scan is done. 5 |
