I really like this little camera. A quick listing of pros and cons: Pros: Really sharp for a small camera 4k videos are really nice Excellent results from a non-obtrusive camera Solid build, but not too heavy Zoom range is very practical for the size Cons: No articulating screen ( I really would like to have this!) Buttons are a little small and recessed (but I have big hands so it's not really Panasonics fault on this one) Wish the aperture went to at least f.11. I really like this little camera! It surprised me with it's sharpness and it's capabilities. I would highly recommend this for an all-around travel camera for someone looking for a quality camera without a huge DSLR hanging around their neck. I like it and would easily recommend it.

Pros: great picture quality, lightweight, easy to use, canon greatness! Cons: shutter cover rattles, micro hotshoe which requires an adapter for my wireless microphone system. Overall, I excepted nothing less than satisfactory and that's what I got with this great camcorder. I'm a Nikonian owning nothing but Nikon equipment, but when I made the choice to purchase this Canon product, I'm so glad I did because it has great HD results. I import my footage into Premiere Pro and start editing in no time!

Cons: Heavy Pros: Built like a tank. Photo quality excellent, although I have used it only in telephoto mode. Some reviewers have claimed it's soft at 600mm, but I have not found that to be the case. I did check mine for focus shift at wide and telephoto settings, and found it was absolutely spot-on in AF mode. Love the zoom locking feature. Have used lens at wide-open f/stop and at F/11, F16. Cannot detect any meaningful differences in sharpness, at least in the center of the frame. Will admit that for a long hike I might still prefer my much lighter Canon 100-400, but if I'm going for wildlife shots, by the time I put my 1.4 extender on the Canon, I'm still short of 600mm, and have lost any advantage in f/stop performance. MAYBE the Canon lens is a tiny bit sharper, but I cannot attest to that with any certainty. Since I bought this Sigma, it's all I've had on my camera, and I suspect it's going be be the #1 choice for 90% of my outdoor shooting. It's really a bargain at B&H's price!

There are some pros and cons but overall excellent kit. Pros - great audio quality especially from stereo mic, gopro connectors so no need in adapters. Cons: comes with two mics but one mount, so you always have to mount/unmount mics, kinda inconvenient. So-so built quality, very thin cables, cheap plastic. Overall happy with purchase and reasonably price.
