Canon Mirrorless Camera Range Comparison

I am moving from DSLR to mirrorless, and this is my entry level camera for the switch. It is a great camera, no comparison to my very old DSLR. Great photos, color, focus, and everything is intuitive and easy to use. 5 |

I was looking for a small, portable tripod to take to an upcoming Disney trip. I wanted something that would easily fit in a small backpack, yet rugged and sturdy enough to support my Canon Mirrorless with a couple of different lenses. This had the weight supportable I wanted (11 lbs), is light (about 1 lb), and extensible (not not overly so, so I felt it would be sturdy through its range of heights). I was NOT disappointed! As I hoped, the tripod is VERY stable. I tested it with my Mirrorless camera and my heaviest/bulkiest lens (Canon 100-500, and heavier than my walkaround lense) and found that it could hold it in place without any issue at all. (I recommend aligning the tripod so that one of the legs is directly under the lens or camera body). I also set it up with my everyday lens (Canon 24-105) and an even lighter Canon 50mm and, obviously, it works splendidly. My only negative comment (if you consider it one) is that the smartphone adapter doesn't add any value to the package--at least for my needs. My iphone 12, with it's Otter box case, doesn't fit within the range of opening the adapter (landscape). The only solution is to remove the case, which is not something I see myself doing with any regularity. Obviously, even with the case removed, the phone wouldn't fit in portrait orientation. That notwithstanding, I'm very happy with my choice and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to add a strong, lightweight, versatile tripod to their bag. 5 |

My last camera was a Canon 40D and this one is absolutely amazing in comparison! I’m still trying to figure it out since there is such a difference. 5 |

This new lens is tack sharp through the whole zoom range - no more micro-adjusting lenses with a mirrorless camera. Love the 3rd control ring - I have it set to adjust ISO. Everything is very smooth and damped. The nano USM motors are extremely fast for auto-focus and dead silent. Best all around zoom lens I ever used. 5 |

The IBIS on the GH6 is just wonderful. Maybe not quite as good as the iPhone 13, but certainly better than any other mirrorless camera! I went out yesterday for a hike with the camera and a 14-140 lens, and got absolutely wonderful looking handheld shots and footage. Everything else is great as well. I've read complaints about the autofocus, but I find it to be really good. Maybe if I was a blogger or wedding photographer I would be more picky, but for the b-roll type shooting I do it seems to work perfectly. The other new feature that I really am enjoying is the way it also applies V-Log to the viewfinder and screen! That combined with the 10 bit formats and dual ISO range make the GH6 a huge step up in terms of dynamic range. This really was the best choice of a camera for my particular wants and needs. 5 |

I am using the lens with a Sony a-6000 mirrorless camera. Previously, I used two lenses that covered the same range as this one, but changing lenses on a regular basis was a hassle. Additionally, the process of swapping lenses caused small dust particles to settled on the camera's sensor that required cleaning. With this new lens I no longer have either of these issues and my photos are better than ever! 5 |

Used with monopod and mirrorless camera. Light and stable. Have used with a window mount and mid range zoom/DSLR. Very happy with this purchase. 5 |
