I bought this binocular in Singapore more than 25 years ago at a price of almost $1000. It was a very expensive purchase at that time but after I tried them at the astronomy store, I was hooked. I use them for anything that requires binoculars including birding, marine, hiking and general use. When at Hayden Valley, Yellowstone NP, I could see the bears, sand cranes and a lone wolf at incredible distances. The sharpness, brightness and field of view bested most of the spotting scopes beside me. Magnification eats light, detail and field. In 7x50's, the combination of magnification and objective diameter make for the ideal balance for any hand held ocular. The compass was especially useful to point out objects to others merely by telling them the directional reading. As an amateur astronomer and an optics affictionado from childhood, I know good optics and Fujinon puts out some of the best. These are the brightest and sharpest binocular on the market, bar none. Nikon, Steiner, Leica glasses are just not as good. The lastest iteration of the 7x50FMTRCSX may be a bit different. Mine came with a bulletproof leather case and tripod mount.

First off....mirrorless is a much better experience than dslrs... in my opinion. I have an assortment of canon dslrs and Olympus mirrorless cameras. My first camera was a canon digital rebel at 6.1 megapixel. I loved the results with that sensor and megapixel combo. I still have fond memories of my experience with that camera. I have large prints from that camera that look great. The difference with this s1 is options! I’ve been a photographer for 17 years now and the amount of capability the s1 gives me as a photographer/videographer feels almost limitless. I love the build quality of the s1. The dynamic range is so incredibly useful. It allows me to produce images that just aren’t possible on my gh5. I love Panasonic’s color as well as the image quality. Panasonic’s menus are pretty straight forward and they give the user so many options!. This camera is a very capable piece of equipment that won’t hold you back as a content creator. The focus capability isn’t as good as canon, but everything else....it’s just better in every way! I bought the sigma 14-24mm art lens to go with it and I am blown away at the color/sharpness this camera is able to produce with sigma glass. I’m a firm believer in the L mount alliance now and canon can have all of their new R glass for premium prices. I’ve used a few Sony mirrorless cameras and I’m not impressed with their menus or their build quality. This s1 is a real masterpiece In camera design. If you need help focusing for event photography, then this isn’t the camera for you, but otherwise this camera is amazing. I would recommend it to anyone who isn’t afraid of using a tool to create the best work you can ever produce. 5 stars!

I'm using Olympus cameras and lenses for over 10 years. Starting from simple EPL1 all the way to OMD E-M10 Mark II. I jumped from Mark II to Mark IV only because the sensor is 20MP vs 16MP for Mark II and all previous models. I have a wide selection on M4/3 lenses and let my 12 years old daughter to have the test run of the camera. She is a novice in digital photography, but she was able to take amassing shots. I'm very happy with the new features, new specs. Excellent compact camera for home use. I'm not comparing it to the professional cameras which costs $3-5K. Another comment - due to COVID Vietnamese factories are down. I live in Singapore, Singapore warehouses are sold out on this model. I had to order from the US. Even with the cost of shipping and customs duties my price was $50-80 less than if stock was available from Singapore vendors.
