Canon Mirrorless Full Frame Camera India

I have waited a while to purchase a full frame camera. And although the mirrorless cameras have improved since their launching, I still want to wait for the next generations to come out. The overheating and lockups sound like a problem to me and I want to wait until the industry improves on those issues. I know the 6D II arrived with unless than great fanfare, but it's still a full frame camera! And that is the experience I was ready to have after owning a Canon T6. I have only had the 6D II for two weeks, so I will have to write an update review once I have had more time to shoot with it. But so far, I am very pleased with the build and functionality of the camera. I purchased the Canon 100mmL to go with it as I am transitioning from street photography to portraiture.

I have used a variety of mirrorless cameras, starting with Sony A7s and A7rII and then the GH5 and most recently the Canon EOS R. The only camera that Ive held on to long-term is the GH5, so I was very excited when I heard Panasonic was releasing a full-frame mirrorless camera. Now that it has arrived, it is truly the most professional, robust, and beautiful mirrorless camera Ive used.  To complement my GH5, I wanted a full-frame mirrorless as well. I bought and tested out the Canon EOS R, but found it frustrating ergonomically and with hindered video specs (big crops, no stabilization, etc), it required a lot of compromises. It took beautiful images, but for video (which is what I mostly do), the GH5 outperformed it in every way.  Next to the EOS R (and definitely all the Sonys), the Panasonic S1 feels like a true professional camera. Its a bit heavier than the other mirrorless cameras, but since I mainly use Sigmas 24-70, 18-35, or 50-100mm, once you have the lenses on there, its not a huge difference. Its actually more comfortable because the grip is so nicely designed.  REALLY looking forward to the 10-bit, V-Log update in a couple of months as well as the Sigma EF L adapter in a few weeks. Will really help make this camera shine.  With Sigma officially on board to make a lens collection and with Panasonics track record of amazing lenses, the L-Mount and Panasonics full frame cameras will be the system to beat in the near future.

I bought this because I have been a cropped camera user for like 8 years now and I have been wanting to make the jump to a full frame. I've read and watched tons of reviews and already had my eye on the RP. I figured if I was going full frame anyway, why not go ahead and make the leap to a mirrorless camera too. I wasn't too worried about most of the concerns that people seemed to have with the RP because I mainly just shoot for my own entertainment, not as a professional or anything. So when I saw the deal that Canon had going on with the RP, basically throwing in the RF kit lens for free I just couldn't resist anymore. But the problem that I am having now is that this camera is just so much better than my old one I don't even want to use it anymore, but since most of my glass was meant for crop cameras (which does work on the RP, just at a greatly reduced resolution) so I really need full frame lenses, and I would love I would love to replace it all with RF glass... but it's just just so expensive. Oh well, here's hoping that Canon (or Sigma) starts releasing some more reasonably priced mid-ranged RF glass in the near future, because the future is definitely mirrorless and I am 100% on board.

I'm a recent convert from Canon full frame mirrorless. This 45mm lens creates bokeh similar to the RF 85mm 1.2 DS lens, but you aren't losing 1.3 stops of light gathering. The lens is definitely tack sharp, but has extremely smooth falloff. It's pleasantly tiny compared to fill frame equivalent lenses, and is also pleasantly less expensive. I'm very pleased with this lens!

Just bought this lens for my Canon EOS R 100. While I have a full frame mirrorless canon as well, going on a cruise to revisit a places I've been to doesn't seem to warrant heavy cameras. I have only tried it out inside my home but was so happy to see the detail and colors that were accurately and clearly picked up.I have posted one.

I have been a Canon user since the 1980s. I decided it was time to upgrade to a full-frame mirrorless and after reading many reviews I knew it was time to switch to Nikon. The Z6 is amazing, love everything about it, from Its lighter weight, faster speed, awesome focus and so much more. I would highly recommend it, just sorry I waited so long.
