Canon Most Megapixel Camera

I like the camera, large megapixel

Had the Canon Powershot 5 megapixel and loved it, but wanted more resolution which I got with the 12.5 megapixel Powershot. Also, appreciate that this camera has image stabilization and is even more compact than the Powershot I used prior and which still works great. Best added features are the image stabilization and the ability to review shots without turning on the whole camera (lens extension, etc.) which saves battery life and makes this even better. As mentioned, this is another wonderfully well thought out Canon camera. And as a user of Canon's analog 1N, their top of the line in analog SLRs, I am convinced from user experience that Canon is the absolute best in this line of business.

I bought this lens to use with a new Canon-EOS Rebel T3i 18.0-Megapixel DSLR Camera with 18-55mm Lens-EOS Rebel T3i. It has been a good interchange and fits easily on the camera body. The clarity of shots has been just what I expect from Canon.

I reluctantly sold my Canon XH-A1 camcorder as I no longer am filming professional quality. Yet I wanted an HD camera. Upon discovery of the Canon Vixia HF200 I was impressed with the features - and bought one.Most shocking was the small size (am used ot the larger Sony and Canon camcorders). But what a convenience! I now take it with me everywhere - without the large camera bag and accessories.Most importantly, the picture/video quality is outstanding. The features such as headphone jack and external mic were typically found only on professional cameras - features that are a 'must' if you want good sound.Editing AVCHD is tricky. My Adobe Premiere CS3 does not process AVCHD; I used Roxio (Creator 2010) to edit and create a short film. I also used Roxio 2010 to convert it to WMV, but the software stumbled/froze and gave me fits. It did ultimately work, though.I plan to purchase Adobe Premiere Elements 8 to edit in the future.Thanks to many other reviewers for their comments; those were valuable in helping me select the Canon HF200. ...

Most people would NOT believe this, but I am using the GOLD 200 Color Film in my Canon camera, that is a FTQL, with a Takamar 1.2 lens, that is approximately 50 years old. I bought this camera while in Vietnam, in 1969. I have taken pictures with this camera from Hawaii, to Madrid, Spain, and all places in between. After getting married and having 2 children, I got caught up raising a family, and after shooting a zillion pictures of my wife and kids, I put the camera away in 1984 and never touched it again until 2 months ago. I cleaned every centimeter of the camera body and lens, installed a new battery, and even cleaned the separate flash, that I purchased way back when. So far the pictures taken have turned out as beautiful, as if I had bought the camera yesterday. Of course as we all know, even if you have the very best equipment, the film makes all the difference in the world. The GOLD 200, and my old Canon FTQL, are back together again, giving me SUPER results.

I bought this Camera to replace a old 6.0 Megapixel 12x Optical zoom Sony... The SX20 is / is everything i was looking for! better zoom and all the extra fetures the camera does are amazing! the HD Video is Great too!- love the one touch button for recording vids. the super Macro is very nice too, see link for Super Macro Shot@

It doesn't have the highest megapixel count but it is a great secondary camera, street photography camera, or beginner camera because of its compact size and great features. It does have Sonys old menu system but for me I almost never use it anyways. If you do decide to get this camera I recommend getting a thumb grip for it and maybe a grip extender if you have bigger hands. The actual picture quality is amazing especially for the price. I switched to this camera from canon and I have no regrets at all.

I can use this 50 megapixel data back with an Ebony 4x5 camera (or similar) and a Shen Hao data back adapter to collect and stitch 5 images to get a 160 megapixel panorama. The depth, sharpness, resolution and color accuracy are amazing, sufficient to print 65 inches wide at 300 pixels per inch.

For sports photography with 50 megapixel camera found I needed extra space when shooting multiple games back to back. Very fast card. Used for a few weeks so far with no issues.

Carrying around my NIKON SLR is sometimes awakward. And I was looking for a compact high megapixel camera. This is it. Pictures are superb. But it cannot be used to shoot continuous shots. I would recommend it for everyone who needs a high quality compact camera.
