I've used the official Canon Battery Grip on shoots before but purchased this one for myself to save $$$... My ONLY problem with this one is the weight isn't counterweighted to the camera (like the canon grip) so the camera with the lens is a little top heavy... Otherwise I love this grip. 5 |

I tried some 3rd party ones, then none official Cannon caps. They all seem to not be as snug as the original one that comes with your Canon camera. I decided to buy the official one and it locks just as snuggly as the official one. 5 |

Save your money on the official Canon version. This works perfect! I was at an equine event this weekend and got to use it on my 6D. I was outside all day and took over 10,000 pictures and I still had a full battery reading on my camera. Plus, I was ready with the back up AA batteries if needed. Looks and feels just like the official Canon. My fellow photographer buddy who has the real Canon, thought I had it too. This fits the 6D perfect, matches perfect and does the job perfect!
