Canon Or Nikon Professional Camera

Professional- I was about to go with Nikon for my business, but looked at reviews on imaging resource and compared All the great Nikons, including Full frame and believe it or not, this little jewel beat the D90 hands down on high iso shooting. The kit lenses are also sharper on Pentax than on Nikon & Canon kits. It even looked better than some of the full frame camera comparisons between Nikon & Canon. The KX just came out, so there's not a lot of reviews, but the ones that are out there, convinced me that it is better than the more expensive name brands. And yes, I am pleased with the image quality.Bought it here at BH - used the money I saved to add TTL flash, and off camera bracket & diffuser. Plan to buy another at BH for back up camera. 5 |

I am not a professional but an enthusiast. I felt the new canon R8 would be too much like Canon RP so I purchased the R6 Mark II and I don't regret it for a second. The camera has a great feel and takes great pictures with my RF 24-105mm L lens, RF 16mm, RF 50mm, and RF 100-400mm lens. I can't afford the Canon professional lenses but what I have works very well with this camera. I still have a lot to learn with it but I expect to enjoy this camera for quite a while. 5 |

I am a Professional free Lance photographer with 35 years of Nikon experiance. I have used every lens, and camera available. The 70-200 VR II is with out peers. It is a perfect match for my new D700 digital system. The weight and balance and controls all complement each other perfectly. Thank you Nikon. 5 |

I was looking for a good camera to replace my venerable Nikon D1. It still works great and takes great pictures, but the low pixel resolution and grainy low light photos are an issue. I do, however, own some professional lenses for it that I wanted to use with a new camera. After a lot of research I settled on the D7500, for features, specs and price, as well as the ability to not purchase a new set of lenses. I am not a professional photographer by any means, but I also want quality pictures and the D7500 really delivers. My AF-S lenses work perfectly with it and after shooting 450 pictures I am seeing fantastic results. The images are amazingly crisp and clear. Colors are accurate. Shooting in monochrome produces very nice contrasts and depth. The menu options are quite extensive, but it has generally not been difficult to find what I am looking for in them. What isn't obvious is a simple google search away. Nikon has mostly kept the basic controls in the same places so there was not a huge adjustment changing from the D1 to the D7500. If there's anything I am not highly enthusiastic about, it's the SnapBridge function. I have found it to be a pain to use. Personally, I prefer to put the SD card in the computer and import them that way. This is not a ding on the camera itself, if others find SnapBridge useful, then it is a good feature for the camera to have. In summary, I am very pleased with the D7500 and with the purchase from B&H, highly recommend both! 5 |

I'm a retired professional photgographer. Still actively shoot, and will for the foreseeable future. The DK-21 fits not just the D200 and D300 digital cameras, but also offers a PERFECT FIT on the Nikon N6006 film camera as well. It does not interfere with the film door. It's as if it was custom made for it. My N6006 is now 20 years old and is still in new condition. It is my first Nikon camera and has provided images suitable for publication. I have several Nikons now, two of them professional. Talk about backward compatibility! One piece of advice: Apply 3 narrow pieces of duct tape to the back of the DK-21, on the 3 sides facing the camera, which snugs it up to the camera, preventing it from inadvertently sliding off. It can prevent the frustration of losing it at the most inopertune moment. 5 |

I am a professional photographer/videographer. I am used to traveling with an ultralight tripod. However, the one(s) that I have were just not stable enough for good video. I had an assignment coming up to video an orchestra concert, using two cameras. I needed a more stable tripod for my primary camera (Nikon D-850 w/ Nikon 28-300). Based upon the reviews, I ordered a Magnus REX VT-4000 tripod from B&H. It worked beautifully. Although it is a bit larger and heavier than the travel tripod that I am used to, the stability was good for video. Plus, panning the head was smooth and creamy. No bump at the beginning, just immediate movement that was smooth and consistent. I am ordering a second one of the same tripod from B&H for my second camera. 5 |
