The HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e is a good option for your home or even a small office. It's also relatively compact and lightweight, making it easy to fit on a desk or shelf. It comes with 3 months of ink also!

Nice little package that allows me to print, copy, scan & fax. Even allows machine to automatically turn off after an interval with no print jobs and then to turn on automatically when a print job comes along. Have to dig a little in printer's menus to set this up.

Burned 7 of these so far and all worked perfectly. Was able to print them in my Canon Pixma mx922 with no problems. For the price I was ready to live with an occasional coaster, but so far so good.

So it makes it easier to scan or copy because you aren't trying to hold it up and work. It can be used wireless or hardwired. We are able to print from anywhere in the house which also makes it very convenient for the kids doing school work. The LCD panel is a nice workable size. You are able to choose the functions easily so setting up the printer took less than twenty minutes. Very user friendly.
