For us, this is an upgrade (BIG upgrade) from the Power Shot SD 890. So far we love everything about the G7 X Mark II. We are still learning some details, but we took it out for the first time to get pictures of fireworks on the 4th of July and the photos were outstanding. We used the Fireworks setting, and it was fantastic. Looking forward to exploring more options with it including video. 5 |

Just include the G7 in a shot or shoot it afterwards. 5 |

I had the Moto G7 power and bought this phone as soon as it came out. It has fixed my one complaint with the G7, which was the camera. Super pleased with my purchase. I was a die hard Samsung flagship kinda girl. I didn't need to have the newest phone but they had to be Samsung top of the line. I will never go back. I simply can not believe the value I got for my money. I passed my 1 year old G7 Power down to my husband. He LOVES it. My only complaint is that the battery is not as robust as the G7 Power; but, I knew that when I bought this phone. I guess the G7 Power spoiled me. Having said that, this phone gets 1.5-2 days out of a battery which is much better than my old phone. 5 |

I love Canon leather cases....used one for my power shot for 6 years and it's still in great shape. This case is cheaper than the molded leather one for the S95,and it's just as good. 5 |

bought two, because my I own the canon Power-shot SX60 HS , where the door for the battery and sd card, is near the screw for the tripod and could not change the Battery if attached to the tripod. the man at B&H , was a great help and figure it out for me , by buying two of theses , and putting them together, it gave me room to open the camera door, while keeping the adopter on the camera for the tripod. it was not costly at all, for about 14.00 each.. it saved me time in stead of taking the camera off the tripod and unscrewing the the tripod adopter along , well worth it.. .I love B&H and love the adopter.. but love B&H more...lol p.s also the adopter lies fate on the camera , to keep the adopter on it to sit flat , love it 5 |

I have a very old version of the canon power shot that has been with me on all my kayaking trips! Very lightweight...I am upgrading to get more zoom for those nature shots, and this camera is a dream...features just like a multi lens dslr. A little more weight than I would like but still compact to take on those out of the way nature trips. 5 |

WhiBal G7 Studio Card 1706 21 All still images are recorded in Raw . I have 3 of these cards. 2- I use in the field, 1- is kept in the office and use for calibration of my Neutral Density filters. Normally I record 3 images Establishing shot, Medium shot, Close up shot. with the lens I am going to use on a project without the Neutral Density filter. Then I place the B+W 3.0 ND filter on the front of the lens. Using the XUME magnetic adapter and filter holders System. This allows me to visually compose the image, Record a baseline image, and then make the exposure adjustments that will accomplish the end image I desire. For General in the field photography I record an image at the start of the shoot of the WhiBal G7 Studio Card with the same illumination falling on the card as falling on the subject I am going to record. For this I use the Wimberley The Plamp II 23 inch flexible arm purchased from B&H. For lenses longer than 100 mm I normally clip or stand the card on a fence, edge of the window, or spring clip it in a position that receives the same illumination as the subject matter I plan to record. In post-processing, in the White Balance section of the application I I use the eyedropper to read the WhiBal G7 Studio Card. Then I read the RGB reflecting off the card and if needed adjust the numbers so there 2 on all three readings. In post-processing I will read the Neutral area, the White area, and the Black area. Then I will batch process the White Balance for the images selected for use in the project. To some of you this may seem over board. I come from a scientific background were both accuracy, and repeatability is required. For the attached images I use the following targets as controls. Purchased from B&H. TEST TARGETS: DKC-Pro 5x7 6 gray - 12 colors , WhiBal G7 5-15/16th x 3 -7/17th card N-G, B, W 5 |
