Canon Power Shots 360 Hs

I had been looking for a camera with specific features and I found that the Canon ELPH 360 HS cover almost all of what I wanted, Well, then trying to find one to purchase was the true challenge. 'Sold out' and 'Out of Stock' was all I was seeing. Then I gave B & H a look and boom they had it in stock. I purchased it, went back to the site's listing of the camera and it said the familiar 'Out of Stock'. I had got the last one. I am very happy with the camera and it is shooting great pixs. This is a great product if you are working with a monopod and need external power out of a 360 shot.

Bought this to replace my previous Power Shot 710 HS because I dropped and the lens jammed. Use for personal photos. Love the burn date to image feature that is the main reason for purchasing. Also use to make a movie with my Grandson - he is the creative guy, I just run the camera. We used the Power Shot 710 HS the last two summers and we are really please with this model, love that sound is played back when review scenes.

I use Elinchrom lights and SkyPort Plus - HS. Metering the lights with this radio trigger is a real benefit. The unit allows one to change the power level on individual lights from the meter as one would from the SkyPort Plus. If you change power levels from the meter then make sure to hit refresh on the SkyPort before making any further changes to power level on the SkyPort. One note of warning, if you intend to use the meter in conjunction with an ELB400 Hi-Sync unit, please see my review of the Sekonic L-858. There are issues.

I previously had a Canon Power Shot camera, and was long overdue in getting a DSLR to take better pictures of my kids and family. I wanted a camera that would allow me to take up-close shots of my kids playing basketball, soccer, running cross country, etc. I did extensive research for weeks, looking at ALL brands and various pricepoints, and ultimately decided on the Pentax K-x. Well, on my very first two outings - the first a CC meet, and the 2nd a soccer game, I came back with dynamite photos of my kids, using the 55-300 lens that came in the package. I was able to simply hold the camera by hand (I have since bought a monopod) and take breathtakingly clear, colorful shots. I also wanted a camera that would do well in low light, as I like to take a lot of indoor shots of the kids at birthdays, etc., and thus far have been very pleased with the results. Overall, I think the Pentax K-x is an excellent buy for the $$$.
