Canon Powershot A3100 Is 12.1Mp Digital Camera

We bought this camera as a short term replacement for a s70 that died. We assumed that since it was a lower priced model it would not be very good. I was soo wrong! My wife had spotted a giant spider in the basement that she wanted killed and Identified. Being the good husband I sprayed the bug and waited for it too kick the bucket. While looking at it I thought it was the deadly Brown Recluse. Only one way to find out. After I was sure it was dead I got out our new 12 megapixel PowerShot a3100 I used the simple flower mode to take a couple of pictures to compare it to what was on the Internet. It turns out that the PowerShot A3100 picked out a critical hidden detail, the position of the spiders eyes. The only absolute way to make sure what we had in the basement was not dangerous was a detail that only the PowerShot A3100 could see. So I would recommend this camera just on the basis of it being able to pick out the eyes of the spider not to mention it's nice for factor, auto face recognition, image stabilization, price and great battery life.

I received my Canon PowerShot SX70 Digital Camera a few weeks ago and I Love it!! The picture quality is outstanding, and it is easy to use. I am not one for complicated things! I like the auto focus and it is still lightweight so not heavy to carry.

I purchased the Canon PowerShot SX200 IS digital camera as my purse camera -- one that I could carry with me everywhere so I won't miss a shot if I don't have my Canon Digital Rebel XTi with me. I wanted a point-and-shoot camera that would do almost everything that my DSLR would do, and the SX200 meets that need perfectly. I especially like the long zoom capability, manual settings option, and the convenience of a movie function, which by the way delivers sharp movies with great sound. The IS feature really helps, of course. I have played with all of the settings, and I have been able to achieve great results, but I usually stay with Manual because I want the same control that the XTi gives me. I love this camera and I recommend it highly.

I own several Canon digital cameras including a Powershot G10 and two older digital 35 mm SLR format types. As a writer-journalist, I never know when I might stumble on to a newsworthy event so I always have this camera with me in my briefcase or backpack. I was worried since the PowerShot A3100 IS was refurbished, but impressed when it arrived in box and mint condition. Price was excellent & camera a very good quality.

I have an active almost 3 year old daughter with another child on the way. We want to get so many pictures of her but she's constantly moving. With the Powershot A3100's ability to take pictures at rapid speed yet have such straightforward navigation has been so beneficial to our picture taking.

I love the update to the PowerShot line. The A3100 IS has everything I want for a traveling companion both in-town and out-of-town. I particularly like the convenience of the controls and the size of the viewer.

This is my 5th Canon Camera, I have a blind faith on Canon camera from point and shoot to DSLR. A3100 is giving me a amazing pictures and price is unbleveable. I would suggest this camera to everyone.

I recently purchased POWERSHOT SX210 DIGITAL CAMERA (PURPLE). I liked its 14x digital zooming and its picture quality and video quality. Everything is perfect. I haven't seen any bad parts till now.
