Canon Powershot Vs Nikon Coolpix Digital Cameras

I recently got into digital cameras because of all the hype on social media, and I’m very happy with the Canon Powershot ELPH 360 HS. It’s small and compact, making it very easy to carry around. The quality of the photos is also fantastic. Overall, I’m enjoying using this camera and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and simple option.

I own several Canon digital cameras including a Powershot G10 and two older digital 35 mm SLR format types. The Powershot SX210 is unique for its size (it is very compact) coupled with its exceptional photo quality and versatility. As a writer-journalist, I never know when I might stumble on to a newsworthy event so I always have this camera with me in my briefcase or backpack. If you are looking for a small, light digital camera that takes quality photographs, search no further.

I ordered this for a few vintage cameras that I have. Nikon SP3, Nikon F and Canon Canonet. With exception to the Canon the cameras do not have meters and the Canon is not really very accurate and kills batteries. This little meter fits nicely on all three cameras (additional hot shoe mount needed for Nikon F) and looks great. The digital readout is very nice and this can be adjusted to read in third, half or full stops. I tested the meter against a Gossen Luna Pro as well as a Sekonic digital meter and so far all readings are accurate. I am so glad I pulled the plug on this meter and now look forward to taking it out in the field.

I received my Canon PowerShot SX70 Digital Camera a few weeks ago and I Love it!! The picture quality is outstanding, and it is easy to use. I am not one for complicated things! I like the auto focus and it is still lightweight so not heavy to carry.

I purchased the Canon PowerShot SX200 IS digital camera as my purse camera -- one that I could carry with me everywhere so I won't miss a shot if I don't have my Canon Digital Rebel XTi with me. I wanted a point-and-shoot camera that would do almost everything that my DSLR would do, and the SX200 meets that need perfectly. I especially like the long zoom capability, manual settings option, and the convenience of a movie function, which by the way delivers sharp movies with great sound. The IS feature really helps, of course. I have played with all of the settings, and I have been able to achieve great results, but I usually stay with Manual because I want the same control that the XTi gives me. I love this camera and I recommend it highly.

I purchased for my great nieces to use with Nikon Coolpix S31 cameras I purchased for them. Great idea for them around the pool and canoeing. The quick disconnect is great to have.

I've been using one of these as a spare for a couple of Nikon Coolpix cameras for at least 2 years. Have also used Power2000 compatible batteries in Canon cameras. They work as well or better than the OEMs, for a lot less. Getting ready to order another for the Coolpix soon!

I will be using this remote for multiple cameras. Primary use is for bird and moon photography with the Nikon Coolpix P1000. Vigration is the enemy for good still photography. This remote and a tripod is the answer. It works from about 30 ft away with any bluetooth capable Nikon.
