Having run refilled cartridges on my old Canon (non-chipped cartridges, so MUCH cheaper), I experienced what many have. A premature failure of the print head. If the print head was cheaper to replace, I'd have done it, but I also needed to be able to work. So I bought a new Canon, and they use chipped cartridges, so now I can;t save nearly as much buying refilled ink cartridges. At least I know the print head should last longer!

I like that my color printer Canon MX870 uses two black cartridges including this one because I mainly print black and white. It is a very good quality ink. Replacing the ink is very easy.

I am pretty with it so far. Two things I think both B&H and Canon can improve: - B&H: Shipping took a bit of time, it's 12 days for me from the day I ordered until it landed at my door - Canon: This unit uses the same print head as the TM-200, TA-20, TM-250, etc...so quality is pretty good. That said, this one has a very small ink cartridges (55ml x 5), not even the size of ink cartridges in the smaller pro-1000 (85ml x 12). I assume that I will need to change cartridges regularly and the ink cost per ml is almost double expensive than the same ink in the 130ml and 300ml cartridges of other printer with this same print head. Canon should make this printer ink upsizable, meaning that it can accept larger cartridges. There's an empty compartment on the left size that can be used for it.

When I needed a print cartridge for my Canon printer I first went to Amazon. All I found there were knockoff print cartridges, all packaged in boxes colored and styled nearly identical to Canon boxes. I had to look carefully at the offerings of cartridges to find that most were not authentic Canon. I then went to the web to search for anyone having authentic Canon products. I found a business called B & H Photo. I had never heard of this company, and in this day and age of scams, I was reluctant at first to accept that this company was authentic. I looked through the reviews and found positive comments. I saw the price was much lower than I had seen anywhere. I placed my order with B & H Photo and I'm so happy I did. I received communications from them immediately on receipt of my order, when the order shipped and a tracking number. It was only a few days later when the print cartridge arrived. It was the Canon product in the proper size and color. I'm so glad to have found this business! B & H website information is now taped to the side of my printer for future orders. Thank You!

Own a Canon printer and use only Canon cartridges. I love my Canon printer and would not consider buying anything else. I print a lot of pictures, etc. and use it daily.

I use the CLI-8 cartridges in my Canon Pro9000 printer. I am a semi-pro photographer and photography is my hobby. When I print about 200 photos at a time, it is cheaper for me to print my own photos if you consider my time and effort and cost to travel to a local store, drop off a print order, and travel again to pick it up. Only to find the colors were not true. I have had to go back many times. When I print at home, the colors are true to what I saw in the field. The CLI-8 colors are steadfast and true.

I use this to replace the print cartridges in my Canon Pixma MX410 printer. It is exactly as the original and works exactly as it is supposed to. Can't really come up with anything that is NOT great about this product...it is exactly what I need at the best price I can find anywhere!
