Canon Printer 439 Bluetooth

Purchased the RCM-439 as a second monopod for medium size lenses such as a Canon EF 100-400mm, EF 300mm. It should work nicely use to a EF 400 lens. I have a heavier monopod for the EF 500 & 600mm lenses which weights approx. 14 lbs. with a 1Dx MkIV. Also, the monopod has a replaceable foot which might come in handy if you use on rough terrain. I had to replaced the entire lower section on my primary monopod when the foot worn out.

I bought this for a canon pixma mp480 printer. Research indicated that I needed bluetooth 2.0 with EDR. This adapter has 2.1 with EDR. I plugged everything in, paired pc and printer and it worked! There is also a mini cd with a driver(?) but I didn't need it. As far as I can tell, this vintage canon technology does not scan wirelessly. That's the main reason I was wanting to try bluetooth for less than canon's BU-30.

Coupled with the Robus RCM-439 I found the combination to be absolutely perfect.

Canon paper on a canon printer, it doesn't get much better than this.

I love the Robus line of products. I have the RCC-5560 tripod and now the RCM-439 monopod it's fully adaptable and sturdy I have a Katana Jr. gimbal on it but I think I'm going to swap that out for something else, a bit more compact. I'm very happy with the Robus Line and B&H.

I bought this to pair with the Robus monopod 439. Very solid and sturdy legs. Also I like the ability to swivel once mounted and can fold up when moving around.

I used the Robus RCM 439 on a photography trip to Svalbard, Norway. It is sturdy enough to support a Cannon 500 mm lens.

I'm using the Robus RCM-439-4 with a RRS quick release plate mostly with professional DSLR cameras and a heavy 500 f/4 lens and so far this monopod worked flawlessly. Great camera support and outstanding value if compared to similar top-of-the-line carbon fiber monopods from Gitzo and RRS with similar features and build qualities. Highly recommended!
