Canon Printer Error Codes

Fit well, does not throw error codes, and has minimal color cast.

I saw several reviews about error codes with off brand batteries, so i just bought this one. It worked perfectly like the one that came with my camera. Comes with an end cap.

I originally tried a re-manufactured color cartridge in my Canon printer and I kept getting error messages no matter what I tried, including all the cleaning processes. As soon as I installed this original Canon cartridge everything worked perfectly!

Surpasses my old Canon printer in every way. Never goes offline, never jams, never displays random error messages, printed paper never flies off and lands on the floor, never has to be unplugged and restarted. It just prints, every time, without a hassle. Smaller and quieter, too. Nothing but love for this one!

It handles all the codes in the GH6.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was not as time consuming as I thought it would be. Thank you Cannon for the QR codes. It made it sooo much easier to install. The 2 laptops that we currently use have no cd-rom's, the codes made for each step helped tremendously. During installation the only thing that slowed me down was the cassette cover. I figure after a few more times of dealing with it I wont take so long to put it back on. The 1st print does take time and that is really no big deal because after that 1st every print after comes out quickly. None of my papers so far once printing is complete has smeared that is a good thing. I've researched a little on the cost of ink cartridges for this device and compared to my previous another brand printer Canon's is about $2 lower. The Pro's: Beautiful print jobs, Inexpensive ink cartridges, Fast prints, Easy installation, Lightweight, Not to noisey. The only major con I have with the Pixma TS702a is that it's very bulky. I believe the majority of the bulk comes from the paper output support. If the output would've been able to go through the rear tray that would save more space. But, that is a minor inconvenience. Also, you have to be very easy with this printer, your not gonna be able to force anything such as the paper tray back into the printer. Try not to bump it too hard either. My final con if the printer screen had a backlight it would be so much easier to read the directions on the screen. I found myself having to shine my phones light on the screen to see what I needed to see. There might be an option for backlight but as of now I haven't found it. All in all so far this printer does exactly what it claims to do and it is fast.

We kept getting the message to clean our drums, but printer would not acknowledge this after the cleaning...Once the new drums were installed, the error message went away.

My first impression looking at the printer I was a little intimidated because it wasn't a cartridge for the ink, I've never used the liquid ink before. To my surprise it was super easy to put the ink in! I had a little trouble starting off because I didn't realize there was a second part that lifts up to take the tape off, so when I was setting it up it kept giving an error until I figured that out. The initial setup was pretty easy after a little trial and error. After setup was complete I was in awe at how fast and clear the printer worked. I printed and scanned and both were amazing! The ink seems like it doesn't run out too quickly like with a Cartridge which is also great for me as I print a LOT between my business and my kids school work. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup for this printer was intuitive – no issues downloading the drivers and getting it to connect with my (Dell) laptop wirelessly. I've had issues connecting wirelessly to other printers in the past, so I was really pleased that I didn't have to spend any time troubleshooting that. The color print comes out vivid, bright, with no bleeding. The first time I tried to print, I accidentally selected a photo that was larger than the paper size loaded. I received an error message on the printer and it was immediately obvious what I’d done wrong – so it’s nice that addressing and fixing my user error was a totally painless process. I appreciate the relatively small size, as my home office is tiny, so it’s nice when the technology I need doesn’t take up too much space. I also love that the ink cartridges can be individually refilled - less cost and also less waste. I really appreciate when companies like Canon create products with environmental responsibility in mind. Overall, if you're looking for a high quality, cost-effective and planet-friendly small office printer, I would highly recommend this one.
