Canon Printer Scan Software

If you have a Canon Printer these produce outstanding results as profiles are in software. 5 |

Software is extremely intuitive and easy to use. Scan quality is exceptional. I scan my pen and ink illustrations to create high quality .tiff files for prints and the detail is phenomenal. 5 |

Coupled with the included Epson Scan software you can make a quick scan with automatic settings or go into professional mode to really see this machine perform. Included film and slide holders enable you to archive images on film - something more people should be doing before valuable images are lost forever. You won't do better for the price. 5 |

With Covid 19 forcing a lot of us to work from home, I needed a printer that can scan to email, and has decent printing capabilities. For me, I’ll be printing the kids worksheets as I’m using this for all of their remote school work and scanning their work. This printer meets all those needs. Setting up was a breeze. I’ve always used Canon products so I’m always partial because they never disappoint. For picture printing I use my Canon Pixma and not this printer. The scanning has been awesome with the ability to scan to multiple PDF by using the flatbed when you can’t use the Automatic Document Feeder right from the control panel. You can rotate from within the screen panel saving you the editing on the computer. Great printer, easy software and setup. 5 |

This is a basic no-frills printer that prints only. No scan feature and not a wireless, exactly what I wanted. I am using it for printing packing slips and shipping labels for my eBay sales. I see some folks complain about lack of a USB cord but c'mon, you can reuse all the cords from your old printer like I did. Not like this is the first printer in your life. I like how it looks, sleek, minimalistic, lightweight, doesn't take much space which is a big plus in my book, and looks cool. Drivers download is available online which is much easier than messing up with a CD, kudos to Canon for that. It takes 243 black cartridge and 144 color. There is a way to set it up to print with the black cartridge only. Moreover, Canon doesn't push subscription to their cartridges like HP does. All in all, I am happy with my new Canon Pixma TS202 printer and recommend it to anyone. 5 |

The Canon imageCLASS MF656CDW printer is perfect for a small office or home user. No more wasted money from throwing away dried up inkjet cartridges! Setup was extremely easy, and connecting to our Wi-Fi network was easy. We got a great price during the black friday sale. Yes, the purchase price is more than the typical inkjet printer, but you should be ahead financially if you factor in the cost of inkjet cartridges. The unit prints quickly and quietly. Also, a few more big pros about this is it has duplex scanning right to your PC, flash drive or you can even scan directly to email or your NAS! Which I have hundreds of documents I need to scan into my Synology NAS. A few downsides: the weight (over 40lbs) and the height might be an issue for some. 5 |

I had the LBP6000 printer and I loved it. Well....when you upgrade software one time too many, the software downloads at Canon can't keep up so my 6000 was kaput. argh. (hope my tech lingo is right!) At any rate, I called Canon, told them my dilemma and they advised I purchase the 6030w. Prints just as fast, same size, but has a grey lid....preferred the other. I fear upgrading my mac anymore! Canon's imageClass is truly the best little printer I've ever had....doesn't have all the bells and whistles but it does what I need perfectly perfect. 5 |

This printer replaced a 10+ yr old Canon printer. - installation was easy (windows). I strongly recommend going with the full package that Canon marks as 'Recommended'. I tried taking a short cut first, and it did not work. Not worth spending the time to do a more tailored install. Getting it going with the recommended installation package was easy. - The software usability has improved a lot since the older version that I used with my previous printer. However I have not tried everything that I did with the old software yet. - Print quality is more than adequate. - I am using wifi to connect to the printer. I have test printed from multiple devices -- no problems at all. - Have not tried printing from a phone or tablet yet. Highly recommended for home use. 5 |

After three days of struggling unsuccessfully with the software for the Canon TS202 printer, I gave up and ordered a HP “Envy Pro 6455”, on the advice of a “chat expert” at B&H Photo, NYC. Within three hours of that compulsive decision, I went back, also compulsively, to the Canon software and found the problem in the third shell of their program: here where you enter margins, paper size, color controls, etc, etc, there is also a list of the all the formats included with the printer and all those you have created and saved. For that list there is a seemingly useless control to change the order of the items on the list (no explanation of why you’d want to do so). That’s where I discovered that if you want your paper/page definition to apply, you must move it to the top of the list. What a rabbit tunnel! Once this is done, this printer prints envelopes and all sorts of cards very well. 5 |

We've used Canons for years and this is a good addition with an easy to use control panel and solid features. The large capacity (10k pages) toner cartridge makes it a solid deal that I couldn't find for less anywhere else. There are some quirks, for example initiating scan to computer from the printer did not work properly until I uninstalled previous versions of canon software that came with one of the other canon printers that we have and then reinstalled the software that came with this unit. But it was possible to overcome this and otherwise we encountered no issues with setup or during use. It is a very economical printer with the large capacity toner cartridge. 5 |
