Canon Printer Scanner Installation

I didn't think that having just a scanner will make a difference in my life, because I was used to scan from my all in one printer flatbed that I have used for years. This scanner not only is fast, it is compact and it is easy to install and use! Upon receiving it I opened the box and inside was the scanner, the ac cable and an usb cable. It came with an easy to understand quick guide to help with the installation process. Once I followed the installation instructions I downloaded the software and it took less than 5 minutes to install. I tried the scanner immediately and it was as easy as putting the paper in the tray and press a button to scan! I am no expert in computers, but I felt confident using it for the first time. Once it scanned the program showed a preview of my doubled sided scanned paper and gave me different options like save, email, send to google or dropbox, print, word, excel, etc. This scanner also has a wi-fi feature and scan from mobile devices. The scanned document was clear and legible and it scanned in about 3 seconds. I am a Mom and have a full time job. This scanner will make my life much easier to organize my receipts and household papers without me having to open a lid of my old scanner and flip my paper to scan the other side. I also like that I can put it anywhere because is way smaller than my all in one printer. Great printer and scanner!

This printer replaced a 10+ yr old Canon printer. - installation was easy (windows). I strongly recommend going with the full package that Canon marks as 'Recommended'. I tried taking a short cut first, and it did not work. Not worth spending the time to do a more tailored install. Getting it going with the recommended installation package was easy. - The software usability has improved a lot since the older version that I used with my previous printer. However I have not tried everything that I did with the old software yet. - Print quality is more than adequate. - I am using wifi to connect to the printer. I have test printed from multiple devices -- no problems at all. - Have not tried printing from a phone or tablet yet. Highly recommended for home use.

Scanner works great for both slides and negatives. Easy installation and learning curve for both the scanner as well as the software. IR scratch remover does an excellent job eliminating scratches and minimizes re-touching. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Canon is a multifunctional device and can be used as not only a printer but as a scanner and fax also. A starter toner cartridge was included that will print approximately 3000 sheets. It was easy to hook to our home network and setup on the computer via wireless. This one prints only black and white but that is mainly what we print anyhow. The output is sharp and can accommodate paper up to 8.5 x 14. A plus for this printer is it connects to my phone and I can print right from it.

I purchased this ink set for my Canon Pixma MX882 combination scanner, fax, and printer. This ink was developed for use with this printer and it works well. However, I wish the cartridges were larger so that I wouldn't run out of ink so often.

The old Epson printer I had crashed and died. I was in need of a printer with scanner and turned to B&H( they've never disappointed), and by seeing the selections offered was able to find just what I needed. I have a large format canon printer, also purchased from B&H a few years ago. As a professional artist I can tell you that Canon printers are by far the most reliable for color fidelity when it comes to printing images of my art. I have one older Epson printer that has no scanner and now I never use it for anything but printing B/W recipes for my wife. Canon has won me over as the best for my uses; personal and professional.

Wonderful machine so far! I just got it last week. This printer/scanner/copier does it all so well! Great value you for the money! I also have a Canon TX3000 large format in my NY office and it has been a piece of junk from the beginning so I really appreciate the quality of this machine!
