I am not a professional but an enthusiast. I felt the new canon R8 would be too much like Canon RP so I purchased the R6 Mark II and I don't regret it for a second. The camera has a great feel and takes great pictures with my RF 24-105mm L lens, RF 16mm, RF 50mm, and RF 100-400mm lens. I can't afford the Canon professional lenses but what I have works very well with this camera. I still have a lot to learn with it but I expect to enjoy this camera for quite a while. 5 |

I'm so happy with this product. Over the years, since my first SONY purchase in 1983, every product I've purchased from SONY has lived up to their reputation as the premiere provider of A/V equipment. Love this receiver! 5 |

I bought a 3035 back in 1983 and it lasted me until this year when i couldn't replace a part that had broke. This is nearly a direct replacement with a few added goodies. It's an absolute workhorse in the studio (along with a studio stand) and can hold the most gear such as a toyo 4x5 with a phase one back and assesories. It's height range is a huge plus. This thing is worth every penny- an i'm quite confident i won't have to replace it any time in the next 20 years! 5 |

I hadn't shot FP4 since 1983, but thought I'd give it another try. As an inveterate Plus-X shooter, I figured that FP4 might give me similar tonality. I was right. It's very close, and is a more than acceptable substitute. Thus far, I've developed it in X-Tol (EI 125 1:1 for ten minutes at 68F) and in HC110 Dil B. Both worked well, but I'm leaning toward the X-Tol 1:1 because of the slight increase in contrast. Yes, I like this film very much. I like having edge numbers on a bulk roll - some don't have them (Fomapan, among others). Very smooth grain and very acceptable contrast with normal development. I can't wait to see what this looks like pulled! 5 |

With the recent price drop I decided to pick up one of these cameras. It is a great all around camera for general purpose use. Being their flagship, Canon throws in everything and the kitchen sink. There are many features to cover every type of professional photography from portrait to photojournalism to professional sports. Even as an amateur I benefit from features like the built in GPS and extremely fast operation. This camera just moves faster than the 5 series cameras that I have used. The huge battery and built in grip are amazing. Being a Canon camera, the ergonomics and user experience are top notch. Now the cons. It's not a travel camera. It's big and heavy and robust. It only has 20mp but for most uses 20mp is more than sufficient. I have a Canon 5DSR that I can use when I need the resolution. This camera and the 5DSR complement each other very well with each being the opposite of the other. The 5DSR is slower, smaller, lower ISO, but with higher resolution. The 1DX Mark II is bigger, faster, higher ISO, but lower resolution. Overall I am very happy that I was able to add this caliber of camera to my kit because of the discounted price. I would take this over a new mirrorless camera any day. 5 |

Ive been a professional photographer now for the last 21 years now. Ive done Weddings, Portraits, Product Photography and Real Estate for pay but love Landscape and Wildlife. I followed the progress of this camera and before pulling the trigger on a Sony again (had several of their A7 series), Fuji (had a few of their top dogs as well) or Canon (started with them) I couldnt resist trying out a S1 with the so called kit lens. That term is a bad joke referring to a lens that in my testing out found to be superior to ALL other 24-105s out there. The Viewfinder is an epiphone and will turn any OVF off of that technology. The build simply imparts one with the knowledge they are dealing with a precision device, not just another camera. The LCD is solid as can be not the typical weak wobbly affair of most other cameras. The shutter is like butter! The big unfortunate LIE out there on the internet due mainly to the fact users are NOT properly setting their camera up, is that the focus system has issues. I came from working with a A7III, Canon R and Nikon Z6 and frankly the S1s focus is not only more accurate but lightning FAST! Anyone having issues with this cameras focus need to read Panasonics extensive explanation of how to set up their focus system. The ergonomics have literally set the bar for others that need to start following. Battery life once again if set up properly can yield at least 500+ shots at minimum. The 24-105 f4 is a lens that is essentially sharp edge to edge across its entire focal range and has NO discernable chromatic aberrations. All I can say is if youre on the fence or considering a professional tool you simply HAVE to work with one, and DO set it up properly. Youll be in love. 5 |

I needed a sports camera to go along with my Canon R3 camera. It's absolutely what I needed. I didn't want to spend $6000 for a new professional camera. I have been looking for a used version of this camera, but was unable to find anything with a low shutter count. When this new camera went on sale at B&H, I had to get it! It maybe big and heavy, however it takes great photos. 5 |

Professional- I was about to go with Nikon for my business, but looked at reviews on imaging resource and compared All the great Nikons, including Full frame and believe it or not, this little jewel beat the D90 hands down on high iso shooting. The kit lenses are also sharper on Pentax than on Nikon & Canon kits. It even looked better than some of the full frame camera comparisons between Nikon & Canon. The KX just came out, so there's not a lot of reviews, but the ones that are out there, convinced me that it is better than the more expensive name brands. And yes, I am pleased with the image quality.Bought it here at BH - used the money I saved to add TTL flash, and off camera bracket & diffuser. Plan to buy another at BH for back up camera. 5 |

Switched from Canon 5D MarkIV to Nikon D850. I am not a professional photographer but learning to get good a it. So far I am very impressed with camera. I still learning the Nikon feature and operations of the camera. I am happy with the switching of brand. 5 |
