Its an excellent camera, in my opinion Canon is the best brand for cameras, at list for a home use.

I find this Product a must have for using a micro four thirds camera such as the Panasonic Lumix GH4. I own both of these products and have previously used canon gear. my wife has a canon camera and lenses so this way we can use the same lenses. this also gives the benefit of using larger better lenses for the Micro Four Thirds format. The product works as advertised and i love it. it even has an aperture dial on the side which i had not previously realized. I hadn't realized until i got it that it doesn't accept EF-S mount lenses, but i should have gathered this. Definitely check the list of what lenses will Autofocus accurately. I am using the Canon 50mm F1.4 and the AF leaves something to be desired even though it is on the accurate list. it is not always accurate and is slow. but this could be caused by any of the 3 products. Overall I recommend this product to anyone especially to take the GH4 to the next level.

This is the camera that i as well as many others have been waiting for. Too many specs too list but boy is it great. Coming from canon for 26 years, this is my go to King.

I tried Canon EF 300mm 1:4L IS on my Fuji X-T2 and it worked in AF and MF, in single shot mode, aperture priority and P mode, with IS and w/o IS. I did not try other camera modes. This lens is on the list of tested lenses. I also tried Sigma 150mm APO Macro DG lens. This lens is NOT on the list of tested lenses and it did not work. It might work in the future, if it is included in one of the future hardware updates. Performance of the adapter also depends on your camera. Helpful info can be found on the Fringer web site. All in all - I am happy with the adapter.

I definitely enjoy the Canon EOS R6 2 mirror list camera. It works well. It tracks peoples eyes very nicely and can distinguish between humans and pets has great focusing in low light too. I am very happy with it. I’ve been using non-mirror canning cameras for a long time I love the back, focusing feature on the display you can look at everything and with a remote trigger I can do pets and other family portraits. I can prop everything in and with the auto tracking it will track the people so I know it’s in focus if they move slightly.. The mirror list is going to be a big addition to my lineup, especially with clergy because of the silent mode with the electronic shutter. There is no noise and they will not give you a hard time then it is definitely a major improvement with canon. Wish they would take the standard lenses , but the adapter works very nicely. I have been very happy with Canon cameras. Keep up the good work. It’s definitely a major improvement. I have been putting off getting the newer camera, but I am very happy. I took the leap.

I am not a professional but an enthusiast. I felt the new canon R8 would be too much like Canon RP so I purchased the R6 Mark II and I don't regret it for a second. The camera has a great feel and takes great pictures with my RF 24-105mm L lens, RF 16mm, RF 50mm, and RF 100-400mm lens. I can't afford the Canon professional lenses but what I have works very well with this camera. I still have a lot to learn with it but I expect to enjoy this camera for quite a while.

With the recent price drop I decided to pick up one of these cameras. It is a great all around camera for general purpose use. Being their flagship, Canon throws in everything and the kitchen sink. There are many features to cover every type of professional photography from portrait to photojournalism to professional sports. Even as an amateur I benefit from features like the built in GPS and extremely fast operation. This camera just moves faster than the 5 series cameras that I have used. The huge battery and built in grip are amazing. Being a Canon camera, the ergonomics and user experience are top notch. Now the cons. It's not a travel camera. It's big and heavy and robust. It only has 20mp but for most uses 20mp is more than sufficient. I have a Canon 5DSR that I can use when I need the resolution. This camera and the 5DSR complement each other very well with each being the opposite of the other. The 5DSR is slower, smaller, lower ISO, but with higher resolution. The 1DX Mark II is bigger, faster, higher ISO, but lower resolution. Overall I am very happy that I was able to add this caliber of camera to my kit because of the discounted price. I would take this over a new mirrorless camera any day.

Ive been a professional photographer now for the last 21 years now. Ive done Weddings, Portraits, Product Photography and Real Estate for pay but love Landscape and Wildlife. I followed the progress of this camera and before pulling the trigger on a Sony again (had several of their A7 series), Fuji (had a few of their top dogs as well) or Canon (started with them) I couldnt resist trying out a S1 with the so called kit lens. That term is a bad joke referring to a lens that in my testing out found to be superior to ALL other 24-105s out there. The Viewfinder is an epiphone and will turn any OVF off of that technology. The build simply imparts one with the knowledge they are dealing with a precision device, not just another camera. The LCD is solid as can be not the typical weak wobbly affair of most other cameras. The shutter is like butter! The big unfortunate LIE out there on the internet due mainly to the fact users are NOT properly setting their camera up, is that the focus system has issues. I came from working with a A7III, Canon R and Nikon Z6 and frankly the S1s focus is not only more accurate but lightning FAST! Anyone having issues with this cameras focus need to read Panasonics extensive explanation of how to set up their focus system.  The ergonomics have literally set the bar for others that need to start following. Battery life once again if set up properly can yield at least 500+ shots at minimum. The 24-105 f4 is a lens that is essentially sharp edge to edge across its entire focal range and has NO discernable chromatic aberrations. All I can say is if youre on the fence or considering a professional tool you simply HAVE to work with one, and DO set it up properly. Youll be in love.
