I bought this for night photography, and is much more stable than my lighter travel tripod. I have only used it twice, but my pictures are much sharper. I have a Canon 5D Mark III, and typically use the 24-105mm L lens. 5 |

I am using this with a Canon EOS 40D to take HDR and Night/low light photography. The switch is solid, lightweight and syncs perfectly with the quickness of this camera. Got it at a great price from B&H (much less than from Canon). Good length on the extension cable, but could be a bit longer. Bottom Line: For the least amount of vibration while taking a photo, this is a must have! 5 |

I tried night photography several times but was not happy with the results. I wanted to try capturing Fireworks Displays on July 4th so I purchased the Canon Timer Remote Controller TC 80N3 for my Canon 7D. I like night photography and am just getting into timelapse photography with my Canon 6d. I was considering a Rokinon as it has great reviews but I wear tri-progressive lensed glasses and its hard for me to manually focus. I also wanted to be able to catch wide scenic landscape shots with it once in a while as well. On to the lens. . . This is my first lens outside the Canon box. I am NOT at all disappointed. I am extremely pleased with this lens. Yes, wide open there is coma in the corners on night shots but I do not think its that bad. Stopping up a little pulls it into control. As a duel purpose lens it is nothing short of AWESOME!! 5 |
